The San Francisco Bay is said to be the Welcome Wagon to the Western U.S. It is home to a band of unique individuals known as the Star Souls. They have tried to keep a low profile. Today, the Star Souls come out of the Superhero closet. LaughWave, the designated leader of the Star Souls gives a speech at a press conference in front of City Hall in the rain. The World is watches and listens.
LaughWave: "I am going to need silence please. We can answer questions when I'm done."
Reporter #1: "Get on with it already!"
LaughWave: "My name is LaughWave. That is all you need to know for now. I am acting leader of the Star Souls til our leader, Haven returns. She is in safe hands. Her Identity is a secret. Our true identities will have to remain secret. There is a group of evil beings known to us as the Necro Souls. The way we got our powers starts in a far off planet. A world of peace was ravaged by these Necro Souls and gave the beings that live in that planet no choice but to send their souls to Earth. Haven was the one who recieved thier leader's Soul. There are many more of us Gifted humans. Some that don't know they are gifted. Some that hide the fact that they are gifted. Some that haven't even been born yet. We are still human beings. We just have the souls of these beings inside us. We have their powers. They have our bodies. We have our minds. We feel that it is our duty to protect Earth from the Necro Souls and from those with Star Souls who have chosen to use their gifts for evil. I know that you all have many questions. Please try to ask in an orderly manner."
Reporter #2: "Is it true that one of you killed a woman?"
LaughWave: "It is true. One of our own lost his temper during a confrontation with a thief. He will do his time and go under severe anger management."
Reportor #3: "What will promise us this won't happen again?"
Digitrix: "Ease up! That woman he killed wasn't exactly innocent! She was trying to freeze the whole planet! I was there!"
Reporter #4: "Where are these so called Necro Souls?"
NecroDance: "That's a good question! Where are they? And what have you done with DarkMind? You wouldn't even know where we are, if it wasn't for you little Haven! DarkMind would have destroyed you all! She will pay with her life for taking my DarkMind from me! Now tell me where you have taken him!"
{The crowd responds in amazement as NecroDance rises from the crowd of cameramen and reporters. She hovers over the crowd and the rest of the Necro Souls make their presance known.}
LaughWave: "What are you talking about? How did you get in here? Protect the crowd Star Souls!"
NeoManiac: "Ready for round two? Or is it round three? I forget these things."
Mantrix: "It's nice to see that things haven't changed with the Necro Souls. Still stupid as ever!"
CherryBomb: "Laugh at us all you want! Keep it up and I'll blow this woman's head off right now!"
Woman: "Please don't let her hurt me!"
Mantrix: "I would never hit a woman! But I'll slap a Necro Soul Witch in a New York Minute! *RAGE MAGE* Winds and thunder can hear my scream, CherryBomb! Time for you to dream!"
LazerBlade: "He put her to sleep! No one does that to my foxy lady!"
NecroDance: "Relax my dear friends. Now is not the time to fight. We shall meet these pathetic Star Souls again. We will find DarkMind! I just want the world to know us. Fear us! You will all bow down to me someday! Necro Souls! Retreat!"
PoleRider: "Sure! Run away! You cowards!"
LaughWave: "This press conference is now over! Star Souls, time to go home!"
Woman: "Wait! I want to personally thank you for saving my life,.. oh what is your name again?"
Mantrix: "The name is Mantrix. Give me your number and you can thank me personally later."
Woman: "The name is Iris J. Hunt. Here you go handsome. I will be waiting for that call."
LaughWave: "Let's go I said. We have to find those Necro Souls before they find us!"
{TimeWeaver ponders as to why he can't just tell the rest of his friends what he knows. Three days pass and no sign of the Necro Souls. All seems quiet and then the Call comes in from Masquerade who was visiting his son in the same Hospital that Haven was.}
Masquerade: "TazSpice! Come in TazSpice! Anyone hearing this needs to get her to St. Mary's fast!
TazSpice: "Go ahead Masquerade! Everyone has thier coms on. What is going on there?"
Masquerade: "Haven was just kidnapped by this big scary looking guy. He just waltzed right into her room and levitated her out the front door. No one could stop him!"
LaughWave: "Did you get a good look at him?
Masquerade: "I'll never forget the look of anger on that guys face! I thought he was DarkMind at first! I know it can't be him."
Digitrix: "It's not DarkMind. I know who it is. Wait for all us to get there. This explains why NecroDance thought we had kidnapped DarkMind!" LaughWave: "Did you see where they were headed, Masquerade?"
Masquerade: "He seemed to be headed towards Hayward."
Digitrix: "It's just how my mama said! Dante was inside of me all along! His tortued soul has been released! Heaven only knows why he is going after the two people that released him from my body!"
LipGloss: "You mean to tell me that your little brother had a Star Soul in him too? You had two Star Souls inside you?"
Digitrix: "We can talk about all this later. My sister could be in lots of trouble! I know where Dante is headed. The place where he was born again. The lot where Grandma's house used to be. Let's go!"
{TimeWeaver knew all of this already. He thinks of why he must not tell them all that he already knows of what is to come. The Star Souls gear up and get ready for battle. They arrive to find Keith Grizz as Omgegator. He has DarkMind and Haven levitated. He glances at the Star Souls as they approach.}
Omegator: "I knew you would lead your friends to me brother! Yes. It is me. Dante. That little child with birth defects. I'm all grown up. This is the Body I chose!"
Digitrix: "How can you be alive? What are you doing with our sister?"
Omegator: "It's easy Bryan! That day dad came home and suffocated me with that pillow, I became one with my Star Soul. Me and Omegator became one. Mom put me inside you. Her Star Soul had the power to place Souls into bodies. That's why all three of her childre n had Star Souls. Mama's Star Soul's name was Triax. He was Zinax's mother on their planet. When Darkmind and Leondra zapped you with both thier power, it released me. I had to find the body of a strong person. I didn't want to be that little weak kid. The kid that couldn't defend himself against his own father! I want their power, Bryan! I want more power!"
Digitrix: "You know my name is Digitrix! Don't play on my emotions Omegator! I will have to stop you!"
Omegator: "You mean you are going to try and stop me!
Digitrix: "Don't do this! We are family! We are all we have!"
Omegator: "Then why didn't you stop him? I died once! I don't ever want to die again! With Leondra and DarkMind's power, I can live forever!"
Haven: "I would have died for you that day, Dante.... . "
Digitrix: "Thank Heaven! Your alive!"
DarkMind: "I'm alive too! Now it's time to pay for what you have done, Haven!"
Haven: "I think you better go while I have given you the chance too. This is between me and my brothers!"
Omegator: "This can't be! You were both in comas! I want both your powers!"
DarkMind: "As I've told you before! I know when to fight and when to run! You know you have not seen the last of me!"
LaughWave: "Star Souls. I think this is our cue to step aside and let Digitrix and Haven handle this."
Haven: "I think it is time I showed you some manners Omegator! You are Omegator! My brother Dante would never hurt anyone!"
Digitrix: "Time to kick some tail!"
A family reunion like no other. Is Omegator really Dante? We will have to find in 15 days. What is really going on with TimeWeaver? Who is Iris J. Hunt? All will be revealed in good time. Witness the death of a Star Soul. It all happens in two weeks!
