The end of the begining for our heroes is upon us. Still no sign of the Necro Souls. It's been a long journey to this point in time for them. They have faced many obsticles to maintain some form of sanity. Leondra Haven still lays in her coma with no sign of recovery soon. Masquerade's son, Andrew, has made great progress with his treatments for his rare condition. BloodWrath's violent rage has landed him in prison for murdering Icicle. The media is gaining momentum on thier pursuit of the Star Souls. They have been branded as misfit heroes. LaughWave is having to make the decision of having the Star Souls come out to the world. We find our heroes in a meeting....
LaughWave: "I don't think it's time to reveal ourselves to the world yet. Haven is still in a coma! What would she think if the media knew about us?"
Mantrix: "The newspapers have some pictures of us already! And they are calling us Loser Heroes! I don't want to be called that!"
LipGloss: "Calm down everyone! All we have to do is call for a press conference. We can tell them what we know. Why can't we tell the world that we are the ones who will save the world?"
Masquerade: "For that simple reason! They will think we are all crazy! It's the same reason most of us hid our powers for so long. I know I've only been here awhile, but I can tell that you all care for each other. We are a family! We have to protect each other as well."
Prizmix: "The guy has a point. What if the people we are supposed to protect, turn against us? That is what scares me."
PoleRider: "Well I say let's just do it and be done with it. I still haven't seen any action. Me and Mantrix still have to catch the creeps that are working together to steal stuff from the universities."
Mantrix: "Yeah! I want to test my skills on some real villians. Well since the Necro Souls have not shown hide or hair of themselves."
LaughWave: "Okay, okay! You both go on ahead with fulfilling your mission. Take Masquerade with you. He needs to go on a mission too. He's trained hard enough. (I still wish I had not sent BloodWrath on that mission with TimeWeaver and Digitrix!) You all be careful. I don't want to read about you in the paper."
Masquerade: "Coolness Man! Let's go kick some booty!"
LaughWave: "I have decided to have a press conference when you three return with those thieves. I must do this for BloodWrath. The world has to know that he did what he did to protect his friends. He's just a kid that didn't know his own strength. He had so much potential."
TimeWeaver: "He's not dead. We will do whatever it takes to free him. They have to hear us out. I was there. I saw what happend."
PoleRider: "Well, umm, you all discuss him til we finish our mission. I have a feeling this will be over before we know it. Let's go Guys!"
Masquerade/Mantrix: "Let's Go!"
{The trio heads off to Berkely, where the last robbery took place to investigate. They learn that two women with incredible strength and power took out a whole group of security guards. From the information they have gathered they learn that one of them controlled animals and the other was making plants grow from her hair and fingers. So they do more in depth investigating into where they might hit next. University of San Francisco is where our trio will stake out.}
Masquerade: "Do you really think that this plant lady and animal lady will come here and try to sabotage the Universities botany Studies?"
PoleRider "Well if you look at what they have done already, it's obvious this is their next target."
Mantrix: "It seems that the animal lady has stolen studys on animal control and has sabotaged the labs at the universities. She must be an animal rights activist. Which means that the plant lady must be an enviromental activist."
PoleRider: "Which means these women are passionate about thier causes. They must very unpredictable. We have to keep our wits about."
Masquerade: "I think we should have left this to the cops. I don't think I'm ready for this sort of thing. I'm not Batman and your not Robin."
Mantrix: "It is our time to shine. The others have proven themselves worthy of battling the Necro Souls. If you were not sure of yourself, why did you come?"
Masquerade: "LaughWave dragged me here. He could have left me alone. I would have paid for Andrew's treatments and then left San Francisco. If I didn't have to be here I wouldn't!"
Mantrix: "So the truth comes out! How dare you act like you're not part of this. And you go arouond giving these speeches about family!
Masquerade: "We don't get to choose who our family is. But, I chose to be part of you guys. I was a petty theif with awesome powers. I just stole to get my son his treatments."
PoleRider: "Cut it out you two! I thought I heard something."
Mantrix: "This conversation isn't over Masquerade! Not by a long shot."
Masquerade: "Anytime... Anyplace buddy..... "
PoleRider: "If you both don't stop this macho man crap, I'll kick both your butts! Now shut up. I thought I heard something down this hallway!"
{They come across the plant lady and animal lady talking. They decide not to attack til the time is right.}
Instinct: "I want to thank you for all your help and patience. The world will soon realize that plants and animals have their place on this planet too. It's gone on too long! I don't know what I would have done without your help Vanessa!"
LadyUtopia: "As long as you know that you've helped me as well. And don't forget to call me Lady Utopia. We don't want to give away our Identities by accident, Ina."
Insinct: "Sorry! I forget that we could be on some kind of hidden camera."
PoleRider: "Well I think a camera is your least of worries right now! *PSYONIC POLE FORMATION* I suggest you come along quietly or I'll have to show you what I'm made of!"
Mantrix: "Listen to her. She means business. But just in case... I'll... Tap... Into... My... *RAGE MAGE* Yes! I feel the elements around me."
Masquerade: "Give up now, or face the Star Souls! *MORPH*! *NINJA STEALTH* You ladies don't have a snowball's chance in Hades with us!"
Instinct: "Well, well, well... What have we here? Two Freaks and a Witch carrying a glowing blue stick! Our we on Candid Camera?"
LadyUtopia: "Did you think that you would scare us with your little intros? Think again! Insinct, Shall We?"
Instinct: "Yes, Lady Utopia, Let's teach them how to treat Mother Nature's daughters! *FAUNA MIND CONTROL* Come to my aid my dear creatures. Give me your strength! You see my little friends. I can control animals, and I can also morph into them! MORPH*! *TIGER* Who wants to be first on my platter?"
Mantrix: "I thought I had seen everything! A talking Tiger! *RAGE MAGE* I'll show you now why they call me Mantrix!"
Insinct: "How did you turn me back into a human? No matter! I still feel the strength of the Tiger in my blood!"
LadyUtopia "I bet he can't cast spells if his hands are tied up! *VINE HAIR WHIP* This will hold you for awhile Mantrix!
PoleRider: "Now it's time for me to take you ladies out! This is why they call me PoleRider!"
{PoleRider impales Lady Utopia with her blue Psyonic pole. This give her the ability to control Lady Utopia like a puppet.}
LadyUtopia: "What did you do to me? I can't move! Help me my Children of the Garden of *FLORA PARADISE* Now you'll get it!"
Masquerade: "What the heck are you babbling about crazy plant lady?"
{In a blink of an eye, wild plants start to grow from out of nowwhere. The plants subdue Mantrix and PoleRider.}
PoleRider: "These weeds can't hold me!"
LadyUtopia: "That will teach you to try and control me! I am a daughter of Mother Nature! You know it's not nice to fool with Mother Nature!"
Insinct: "Or her Daughters! Now where did your morphing ninja friend go?"
Masquerade: "I'm right here you psychos! Now you get to see me for all I can be! *MORPH*! *PLANT POISON* I'll beat you at your own game!"
LadyUtopia: "Nooooooo! My beautiful Paradise! What have you done! You killed them! They were innocent!"
Masquerade: "They were no more innocent than you! How can you think that you can help them by stealing and sabotaging these Universities studies? They have paid for your crimes!"
LadyUtopia: "This is all your fault Ina! I believed that this was the way to help the enviroment! I was wrong! You used me! I won't ever forgive you for this!"
Insinct: "We can still defeat them! They are just brainwashing you!"
LadyUtopia: "How many more of these beautiful plants and creatures have to be destroyed to prove a point?"
Insinct: "Go ahead! Give up! I won't ever give up my fight! You're weak, Vanessa!"
LadyUtopia: "I think it's time to give up Instinct!"
Insinct: "Not til I have taken my last breath!"
Mantrix: "That can be arranged for you now!*RAGE MAGE* Feeling kind of faint?"
{Instinct begins to gasp for air.}
PoleRider: "Call back your spell Mantrix! We don't want to have to send you to prison as well! I'll detain her with my Psyonic Pole."
Mantrix: "Okay, okay!"
Masquerade: "Now that's what I call turning over a new leaf!"
Insinct: "You think you can stop me? I will grow stronger. I will get my revenge! Watch your back Vanessa! This is not over between us!"
LadyUtopia: "The name is Lady Utopia! Don't forget it! I'll be waiting you deciever! You three get out of here. I'll exlain all this to the authorities. I will no longer be a thorn in your side. Maybe someday we will have a chance to work together!"
PoleRider: "We will do what we can do to get you help. We can tell you where you got your powers from."
LadyUtopia: "Go now! The sirens sound very close. I'll see you all later!"
Masquerade: "LaughWave gave me a second chance. I'm sure he will give you one too."
LadyUtopia: "LaughWave? You mean there are more like us out there? Well then I hope to hear from you all soon. Now get out of here!"
{The trio leave with a new understanding of Friendship. A friend will step in when the rest of the world steps out. Takes them not too long to get back to the Base. Mantrix and Masquerade finish their conversation.}
Masquerade: "I want to apologize to you for what I said. We did a good job working together. Maybe we are destine to save the world from the Necro Souls. Time will only tell."
Mantrix: "I am sorry too. I should not have jumped on your case so fast. I look forward to fighting along side you."
Masquerade: "All is cool in Camelot!"
Mantrix: "Yeah....... "
{TimeWeaver overheard their conversation. He thinks to himself,}
TimeWeaver: "If only I could tell them! I wish I could tell someone! It is my duty to let destiny take it's course. My poor friend. I wish I could tell you. I must be strong. Leondra needs my strength!"
