Christmas in the Bay is such a wonderful site to
see. So many people celebrating. Some more than
others. And some like our heroes. It's not the
happiest of times. And it's not the worst of times.
Let's see what's up.
Prizmix: "Feiliz Navidad, mi Familia!"
PoleRider: "Merry Christmas to you too, Priz."
Masquerade: "This is the best present anyone could ever ask for. I thank you all for accepting me in your home. Even though Andrew and Haven are not here, they are in spirit."
Digitrix: "We are all family now. We don't choose who our family members are. It's about how we are there for each other."
LaughWave: "I propose a toast! To the Star Souls Family! May we grow and be prosperous in the new year!"
{Doorbell rings. LipGloss answers the door. TightIn, SnapShot, and BloodWrath are all standing at the door.}
TightIn/SnapShot/BloodWrath: "Surprise! Merry Christmas! Happy Hannukah! Happy Kwanza!"
LipGloss: "Now this is really a miracle! Come in you guys!"
TimeWeaver: "Well look what the winds blew in! Pinch me! I think I'm dreaming."
Mantrix: "Now it's time to party! I was saving my bottle of tequila for New Year's Eve. But what the hey! Let's go crazy!"
BloodWrath: "I've decided to come back to join the team."
Digitrix: "TightIn, SnapShot, are you both coming back as well?"
TightIn: "No we're not. We three arranged to surprise you all on Christmas. BloodWrath decided he needed to be here."
SnapShot: "I know I have a place to call home here with you all. It's just not the right time for me to come back."
TightIn: "You all understand, right?"
LaughWave: "Of course we do. We all miss you guys. Which brings me to introduce you three to our newest members, TazSpice and Masquerade."
{Meanwhile...}
Icicle: "We are near completion of our Ice Laser."
IceBlitz: "Why can't we just be happy that we both have good paying jobs and live a happy normal life? Why do we have to steal from all these laboratories?"
Icicle: "You love me, right?"
IceBlitz: "Yes."
Icicle: "We are not a normal couple. We have great power. We can control the snow and ice. I know we can be powerful if we work together. We can be rich. We are going to finish this Ice Laser and freeze financial institutions and have our way with their vaults. We can handle the cold. Normal people can't handle the cold like we can. They will be frozen in their tracks."
IceBlitz: "I wasn't raised like that. You have to work hard for your money. But, if that is what makes you happy, then I'm happy.
Icicle: "Now sleep baby. Merry Christmas. We have to get some rest. We steal the last component to our Ice Laser tomorrow."
{Next Morning, Back at Star Souls' Headquarters. LaughWave, TimeWeaver, BloodWrath, and Digitrix talk over iced mochas.}
BloodWrath: "I know I'm not well trained on using my power. I want to help."
TimeWeaver: "You could get hurt. Your not ready to go out into the field yet."
BloodWrath: "I want to make up for lost time."
LaughWave: "It's my place to say who does what. I feel you are not ready. If you believe you can be of help to TimeWeaver and Digitrix, then, by all means do so."
BloodWrath: "Yeesss! I won't let you guys down!"
Digitrix: "We'll brief you on what we know so far and then head on down to Silicon Valley!"
BloodWrath: "Tell SnapShot and TightIn good-bye for me. Woo Hoo! Let's do this!
{They arrive in Silicon Valley and rent a hotel for a week.}
Digitrix: "From what the reports say it seems as though someone was planning on making someone's winter a little bit more cooler."
TimeWeaver: "I don't recall any of the Necro Souls having ice-like powers."
BloodWrath: "Nope. None of them did. It's getting late. When are we gonna see some action?"
Digitrix: "Don't worry man. You'll get your chance to kick some butt."
TimeWeaver: "Well listen in on the C.B. radio. Maybe there is something interesting going down."
BloodWrath: "Well I guess it won't hurt."
{He listens carefully to the jibberish on the C.B. Then something interesting comes on. The Police have been called in to a possible break in at a near by Lab.}
BloodWrath: "They are calling our names! Let's go guys!"
TimeWeaver: "And to think I thought it was dumb to buy that old C.B. radio. Who knew?"
Digitrix: "Let's go catch us some bad guys."
{They arrive at the scene. Several cop cars have been frozen solid. There is commotion inside. Icicle and IceBlitz make their way out of the building with their final piece to their Ice Laser.}
Icicle: "Crazy cops! They think they can stop us? Never!"
BloodWrath: "They might not be able to stop you, But we can!"
IceBlitz: "And who the heck are you guys?"
Digitrix: "We are the Star Souls! And we are here to stop you."
TimeWeaver: "Surrender now. Or deal with us!"
Icicle "Surrender? You must be joking. I haven't come this far to be stopped by some idiots dressed up in clown suits! IceBlitz baby, take care of them!"
IceBlitz: "Yes Darling. You should have never came here you guys! ?ICE STORM? Now feel our fury!"
BloodWrath: "Is that all you got? Snowflake man? The name is BloodWrath! ?MEGA STRENGTH? I'll turn you into a snow cone!"
Icilce "Well, BloodWrath, You look a bit hot under the collar. Let me cool you down! ?ICE LIGHTING? No one messes with my man!"
TimeWeaver: "Oh no! She froze him solid! I can't focus. Too cold. So cold. ?STOP WATCH? That will keep him from freezing to death!"
Digitrix: "Well lady! You mess with my friends, you deal with me! ?DIGITAL REFLEX? There is no running from me now. I can trace you. I will find you. Digitrix has spoken!"
IceBlitz: "It would be best if you save your friend while you still can. Don't make her mad. Just go!"
Icicle: "Let's get out of here. Before anymore wannabe hereoes show up. I will take care of you three later. I know we shall meet again."
TimeWeaver: "So do I, you ice witch!" IceBlitz: "Salt will melt her ice. Save your friend. Good Bye, Good luck!"
Digitrix: "Why did he tell us how to save BloodWrath?"
TimeWeaver "Does the name Masquerade mean anything to you?"
Digitrix: "Well let's thaw him out. We have to figure out what they plan on doing with this thing they seem to be building."
{Back at the hotel.}
Digitrix: "You could have gotten yourself killed kid! It's not about showing off your power and stuff. It's about keeping a cool head. Staying one step ahead of the enemy. BloodWrath: "Look! I know that I don't have the training you guys do. But I wanted to help. And don't call me kid. I don't like that."
Digitrix: "It's okay. We just weren't ready to deal with these two.
TimeWeaver: "Don't make light of the situation. I could have just let you freeze. I had to use my power to stop time around you. I've learned how to use my power more. I'm not able to stop time entirely or even time travel. So we have to be careful."
BloodWrath: "I promise to be careful the next time around. I'll teach that ice witch a thing or two."
Digitrix: "So now we know what our rivals can do. Now let's figure out a way to stop them."
TimeWeaver: "If we can get some wetsuits to keep us warm. We can wear them underneath our costumes. I'll take care of IceBlitz. I can stop him in his tracks. That will leave Icicle up to you guys."
Digitrix: "I can use my power to distract her. BloodWrath can take her down."
BloodWrath: "It's gonna be a pleasure taking her down."
{New Year's Eve 1999. Icicle and IceBlitz plan on testing their Ice Laser on a small bank.}
Icicle: "The world is going to feel our power! This is just a simple test. IceBlitz baby, stick your arms inside the Ice Laser and freeze the security guards."
IceBlitz: "Yes my love. We'll show the world what we can do! Hands up! Better yet, just don't move!"
{His power combines with the Ice Laser causing his power to be ten times more powerful. He freezes everyone inside. Then he tosses the Ice Laser back to Icicle.}
Icicle: "Yes! Yes! It worked! I knew it would! Now grab the cash in the vault and let's get out of here!"
Digitrix: "You both aren't going anywhere!
Icicle: "Get them baby! Show them what you can do!"
TimeWeaver: "We came prepared this time! Happy New Year IceBlitz! *STOP WATCH* Now try to get out of that!"
Icicle: "That's okay. I don't need him. I never needed him! He was such a fool. Thanks for your help, James. I don't need you anymore!" Now feel my the void of my Ice Laser!"
Digitrix: "I don't think so! *METAL MATRIX MORPH* I have taken control of you Ice Laser! Anything electronic I can control with just a thought!"
Icicle: "Oh yeah! Freeze Sucker!"
{She attempts to use the Ice Laser anyways. With her power and with Digitrix's control it caused the Ice Laser to overload and it froze everything within a 10 mile radius.}
Icicle: "Yes! Thank you for your help, Digitrix."
BloodWrath: "You almost froze this whole valle. Why didn't your powers effect us!"
Icicle: "I don't need my laser to stop you! *ICE CANNON* I'll freeze the whole world! Use your powers, IceBlitz!"
IceBlitz: "You have lost your mind! I won't use my *DEEP FREEZE WIND* You are not very nice! Icicle: "You are such a loser!"
IceBlitz: "You will pay for hurting my heart! How dare you be so mean to me! I did everything for you!"
Icicle: "Don't forget who taught you how to harness your power! I only got with you because I knew you had the potential to help me get rich quick!
{As IceBlitz and Icicle argue, BloodWrath powers up and sneaks up behind her and tackles her to the ground. }
BloodWrath: "Your going to pay for making me look like a fool in front of my friends! *CARNAL WRATH STRENGTH* I'll bring you both down!"
{He does not know his own strength and lands a deadly blow to Icicle's head. Her body falls to the icey cold floor. BloodWrath stands over her. He hangs his head down in shame. What has he done?}
TimeWeaver: "Nooooooo!"
BloodWrath: "What have I done? I'm a monster! I've killed her!"
IceBlitz: "Maybe it's for the best. She was power crazy. I would have loved her for who she was. Now I have to pay for her crime."
Digitrix: "This is going to upset LaughWave."
BloodWrath: "Don't worry. I'll turn myself in. I won't be mad if you guys decide to kick me off the the team. I've just killed someone!"
TimeWeaver: "If only I could just turn back time. Wait a minute..."
IceBlitz: "You guys have a team? When I do my time, can I come join you guys?"
Digitrix: "I'm sure there is a place for you. We'll make sure you don't spend too much time in jail." TimeWeaver: "As if things couldn't get any worse! Here come the police! How are we going to have to get rid of all this ice?"
IceBlitz: "I'll take care of all the ice. You guys go ahead. I'll try to explain all that has happend to the police."
Digitrix: "Thanks! Whenever it is you get out, look us up in San Francisco. And uh, Happy New Year."
IceBlitz: "Happy New Year to you too."
Hell came close to freezing over. Now what will
LaughWave do? How will BloodWrath pay for his
crime? Find out what happens in two weeks. Then in
