Our heroes look like deers caught in headlights. The media has arrived and are asking questions.
LaughWave: "Quick grab Haven and Digtrix! TimeWeaver, can you do something to stop the media til we can get out of here?"
TimeWeaver: "My specialty coming right up! ?Time Freeze Warp?!"
LaughWave: "Good work! Now let's get the heck out of here. We need to get them to a hospital quick!"
{They wait patiently in the waiting room at the hospital. The silence is nerve wrecking. It's going to be a long night. Meanwhile our heroes are here waiting, A Star is Being Born}
Keith Grizz: "Boy, oh boy. Life is sure exciting around here. Books and more books. I hate these slow nights. Why didn't I just stay working as a mechanic. I had to help run the Library. My father's death bed wish. Oh well."
Security Guard: "Talking to yourself again? I don't blame you. Must get lonely here at night."
Keith: "I didn't realize you were standing there."
Guard: "Well I'm gonna take my lunch break now. Page me if you need anything or if anything happens. Like anything happens around here. Haha."
Keith: "Enjoy. See ya in an hour."
{just as the guard makes his exit, the light that shot out of Digitrix's chest surrounds Keith}
Keith: "What the heck is going on? I feel so powerful. So strong. This light is lifting me off the floor! AAAHHHHH!!"
{The light is the Star Soul that was in Dante Haven's body. It has found a new place to live. Omegator lives}
Omegator: "I have suffered enough. It is time this world pays for what it has done to me."
Keith "Who are you? Your in my head! How did that happen?"
Omegator "I am one of the migty Star Souls. You are my host body. I will give you my memories and strength in exhange for your body."
Keith "Does that mean I will have super powers?"
Omegator "Power beyond your wildest dreams. Just say *I Am Omegator* and leave the rest up to me."
Keith "Oh man this is too cool! *I Am Omegator*! Yes! Yes! I feel the power! I am Omegator. And I think we need to pay a litte visit to your family. Poor Soul, you've been through hell. Time to show the world what I'm capable of. I have lots to plan. No more librarian life for me! The world will feel my power!!"
{Meanwhile. The new day sun brings comfort to our battle weary heroes. The night in the hospital seemed to last forever. They never thought that any of their lives would change so quickly. Now, they find themselves in a place foriegn to them. The nine that are left ponder their next move. What will they do without Haven to guide them and Digitrix to help them?}
LipGloss: "What do we do now? Haven's in a coma and Digitrix is all banged up."
LaughWave: "We have to get settled in. We need to find a new place to call home."
TightIn: "I'll tell you one thing. I'm not cut out for this stuff. We almost got killed by the Necro Souls."
TimeWeaver: "Don't talk that way. You know we have to do what we have to do. Haven would want us to continue to defend our world."
BloodWrath: "Do you even hear what your saying? Listen to you carry on. It's not worth risking our lives without her guiding us."
PoleRider: "If we don't stop the Necro Souls, who will? Think about that. We have to stick to our guns."
SnapShot: "I for one have a life to get back too. This is not what I ever wanted to do. This is too much. Too much!!"
Prizmix: "If you don't help us, then all is lost, man! We have to come together as group and decide on who will be in charge while Haven and Digitrix recover."
Digitrix: "I nominate LaughWave!"
{Digitrix walks into the hospital waiting room}
Mantrix: "Hey! You're okay! It's good to have you back, Digitrix."
{LipGloss and PoleRider give Digitrix a hug and kiss}
Digitrix: "Thanks you guys. Nothing a little rest and medicine couldn't cure. Well? Do you want the job, LaughWave?
LaughWave: "It would be an honor. Do you know of a place where we can all call home for now, Digitrix?"
Digitrix: "Sure I do. Let me do the paperwork for me and Haven. She'll be in good hands here. Only the best for my sister. Dr. Chavez will be caring for Haven. She's the best. I'll be right back!"
SnapShot: "Well, you don't have to worry about me. I'm going back home."
LaughWave: "It's your choice. If anyone else wants to leave, please do so now. Just know that you will always have us to count on for anything."
BloodWrath: "I'm going to leave too."
TightIn: "So am I. Sorry guys. I wasn't ready for all this. Maybe I'll come back to join you again."
Mantrix: "I am going to miss you guys. We all are."
LipGloss: "It was short, but sweet."
TimeWeaver: "Til we meet again, friends."
LaughWave: "Let's grab Digitrix and head on out of here. This place makes my skin crawl."
{The seven remaining Star Souls discuss things over breakfast. Digitrix tells them about his friend who lives in a warehouse. His name is Charles Cloud. Digitrix calls him TazSpice. TazSpice is real good with electronics. He's also a black belt in Karate. TazSpice has opened his warehouse to Digtrix and the rest of the Star Souls. This will be their Base. Let's check up on another one of the new faces we saw last issue}
Michael Woods: "Doc, Please tell me if there is anyway we can do something about my son's condition."
Dr. Robinson: "I am recommending you to a collegue of mine in San Francisco, Dr. Chavez. She leads a study group on rare diseases. Will there be a problem with you having to relocate?"
Michael "No Problem Doc. Let's just get my son the help he needs."
Dr. Robinson: "Then I'll get you the necessary paperwork to get you and Andrew here going."
Michael "Leave me with my son for a few minutes, please."
Dr. Robinson: "No problem Mr. Woods."
Michael: "I might have no money. But, I will do what I have to do to get you back into good health. Nothing will keep me from doing that. I've lost your mom. I don't want to lose you too. Now, I must leave to earn the money we're going to need to move to San Francisco."
{two weeks later, back at the Star Souls New Base}
LipGloss: "It's begining to look alot like Christmas!"
PoleRider: "We really have done a number on this place. It needed a ladies touch."
TazSpice: "The place looks festive. Even the Training room is looking cheery."
LaughWave: "Enjoy this as much as you can. I'm starting to wonder why it's been so quiet. No sign of the Necro Souls."
Prizmix: "I bet they won't ever show their ugly faces around again."
TimeWeaver: "Don't count on it. Don't forget we're not the only ones with these Gifts of Power."
{How true. And what exactly have the Necro Souls been up too? Let's see. NecroDance is watching over DarkMind's lifeless body}
NecroDance: "Our training is going well my dear. The Star Souls will pay for what they have done to you. Noting will stop my vengence my love. Nothing!"
{Meanwhile at the hospital}
Digitrix: "Leondra, wake up. Christmas will not be the same without you. I am still confused over what Mama said about Dante living inside me. Tell me what that light was. Where did it go after it shot out of my chest. I need you big Sis! Come back to us."
The Necro Souls are getting ready for
round two. The Birth of Omegator is going to
shake things up a little. How far will a father go
