Destruction of the Second Death Star
Background:
They Rebel Alliance has heard of the construction of a second
death star. They know this is not complete, and that the weapon
systems are not yet operationl.
Their plan is simple: a strike team will land on the moon with
a stolen Imperial ship and code and de-activate the shield
generator that is protecting the new battlestation. Meanwhile,
an air assault will be mounted against the death star once
the shiled is down.
Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker lets himself be captured to confront
Darth Vader, and finish him off for good. But something happens,
something unexpected.
The Battle:
A strike force, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Leia, Chewie, and the
rest of the squadron land on the forest moon of Endor planning
to de-activate the shiled generator for the Death Star. Along
the way, Leia is separated and captured by a group of Ewoks, natives
to Endor. Later, Han, Luke, and Chewie are also captured, and
they meet back at the Ewok's village. There they gain the Ewoks'
help.
Meanwhile, Luke finally tells Leia that Darth Vader is Luke's
father and Leia is Lukes sister. He gets captured by an officer
and is taken to Darth Vader. He confronts him, and beats him by
barely touching the Dark Side of the Force. The Emperor then
blasts him with lightning, but Anakin Skywalker, not turned
back to good, kills the Emperor, which in turn costs Anakin his
life.
Unaware of the Endor failure, the Rebel Fleet approaches the Death
Star. Lando, the leader, realizes the shiled is still up, and
they fall into a trap. The Battle Rages on, many an A-Wing,
X-wing, B-wing, and Y-Wing are destroyed. When a blast of
light from the Death Star flashes in their eyes, they realize
the Death Star is operational.
Finally, the Endor plan is successful, and the fleet flies
into the superstructure of the death star and attempt to destroy
the main reactor. After many tries, they succeed, and the Millenium Falcon barely
escapes from the blow. They return successful, and celebrate
at the Ewok village (with new music).
