Chapter 3
Seeing the startled look on the dragon's
face, Damon quickly explained,"I was walking in these feilds a few days ago
and stumbled over a rock. I fell and hit my head and went
unconsious. When I awake, I was completely healed. I stood up, and
saw a silver unicorn run into this forest. I told Ann what happened ans
she told me the unicorn healed me with it's beautiful silver horn. Now,
with the help of my friends, I want to find the unicorn and thank it for savinbg
my life,"
Still somewhat startled, the dragon answered,"Alright my
friends, but do be careful. I will watch over you to make sure you are
safe. But for now, I must be going." and with that, Dmetri flapped
his powerful wings and soared away.
Feeling a little dizzy, Ann sat back down on the
ground. Leigh sat down beside her and said,"That was the most
beautiful dragon I've ever seen!"
Ann rolled her eyes and laughed,"That's the
only dragon you've ever seen Leigh, silly girl."
Chuckling, Damon walked over to the girls and sat
down. "You know girls, this will be a very dangerous journey, and I
do not want you to get hurt."
Trying to comfort him, Ann said,"Yes, we know
Damon, but we are very strong." she giggled and continued,"And
besides, it will give me a chance to try out my magic."
Feeling a little better, Damon got up, heading for
the forest,"Oh, and you'll have to keep up too!", he said while
running and laughing at the same time.
