After dinner, some of the gang had gone to sleep, with the exception of Cid, Yuffie, Vincent and Cloud, who were watching TV.

Cloud: Give it up Cid, the Dukes of Hazard are OVER!
Cid: No! One of these channels has to be showing reruns.
Yuffie: I just had an "apitany"!
Vincent: I think you mean an "epiphany", where you realize something?
Yuffie: Whatever. Anyways, heres my thing: "No matter where you go, there you are. What do you think?

Everyone stares at her, then throws something at Yuffie.

Yuffie: Hey! If you don't like it, just say so!
Cid: Hey, whered my remote control go?!
Yuffie: You threw it at me!
Cid: Give it here, woman!
Yuffie: Catch! (throws it at Cid, but the batteries fly out and hit Vincent)
Vincent: Aaahhh! I got a battery in my eye! Help me! (runs around the room like a crazy man).
Yuffie: Now look what you did, old man!
Cid: Me?! Im not the one trying to peg people with batteries!

Meanwhile, Vincent is still running around screaming in pain...

Cloud: Shut up guys, Vincent needs our help.
Cid: Come here Vincent, let me see your eye.
Yuffie: Come on Vincent, we won't hurt you.

Vincent appears to think about it, then turns to Cid.

Cid: I see what the problem is, hey Yuffie, go get my wrench.
Vincent: Your what?!! Get away from me, Dr. Frankenstein!
Yuffie: Let me see Vincent. (looks at Vincents eye). Now just hold still, I'll do a karate thing and knock it out...
Vincent: What?!!
Cloud: You people are hopeless, let me see, Vincent. (looks at his eye) I think it'll need surgery...
Vincent: WHAT?!! Aaaaahhhh!!! (runs out the door)
Yuffie: Geez, what a scaredy cat.
Cid: What a wimp.
Cloud: Even I got more courage than that.

Suddenly, Scarlet runs in the open door.

Scarlet: When are my handsome hunks?
Cloud and Cid: Aaaahh!!

Cloud runs past Scarlet and goes outside. Cid takes cover behind the couch and tries to persuade Scarlet to go with someone else.

Cid: Come on Scarlet, you dont want me. Uh, after all, Barret and Cait Sith are downstairs and are much more handsome than me!
Scarlet: (ponders the idea for a moment) OK, but if theyre not downstairs, I'm coming after you!! (jumps onto the elevator thing and goes downstairs).
Yuffie: That wasn't very nice, Cid.
Cid: Neither is stealing materia!

Screams and cries for help come from below, along with Scarlet's stupid "Kya, ha, ha" laugh.

Cid: I feel sorry for them...oh well, let's watch TV.
Yuffie: How? Vincent took the battery from the remote with him.
Cid: Doh!

Just then, Vincent walks inside.

Yuffie and Cid: Vincent!!!
Vincent: Yes I have returned, some guy got the battery out of my eye, so you guys can watch TV now.
Cid: Thanks, Vincent. Now I can watch the Dukes of Hazard.
Yuffie: Anything but that!
Vincent: Yuffie, why dont we go skating and leave Cid to his strange show.
Yuffie: OK...no wait, my board is downstairs.
Vincent: So?
Yuffie: Scarlet is downstairs.
Vincent: (shudders) *Ugh* I see the problem.
Cid: So, how are we gonna get her out?
Vincent: Hmm...I have an idea, but I need to contact Reeve...

Later that evening...

Cid: So what did you call Reeve for?
Vincent: I needed to get in contact with Dark Nation.
Yuffie: Isn't that Rufus' panther?
Vincent: Yeah, and he hates Scarlet.

Knock at the door.

Vincent: Thats probably them. (opens door and lets Rufus and Dark Nation in).
Rufus: So where is the *shudder* evil one?
Cid: Downstairs.
Dark Nation: I shall return shortly (goes downstairs).
Yuffie: Is it just me, or does he sound like Red XIII?
Rufus: Supposedly, they were friends at a younger age.
Cid: "Supposedly", what does that mean?
Vincent: Presumably true or real...
Cid: Not the word, you idiot!
Vincent: ...
Rufus: Anyways, perhaps we should open the door in order to not be run over by that crazy Scarlet. (opens the door, and not a moment too soon, Scarlet jumps out of the lower level and runs outside screaming).
Rufus: Good work, boy. Would you like a doggy treat?

Dark Nation walks towards Rufus, but goes past him and sits in front of Vincent.

Rufus: Hey!
Dark Nation: Hola.
Everyone: WHAT?!
Dark Nation: Aloha.
Rufus: *Sigh* I guess the shock of seeing that Scarlet got him all nutty again. Oh well, nothing a little beer won't cure. Lets go home Dark Nation.
Dark Nation: Konichiwa. (Rufus and Dark Nation leave).
Vincent: *Sigh* I suppose we should go downstairs and see what's left of Barret and Cait Sith.
