I just thought it was funny. I'll probably take it down later since it's not long enough. I couldn't really expand on the idea.

A Weird Day with Seifer

Sitting in the dining room of her father's mansion, Rinoa twirls her hair, extremely bored. Just then, the maid walks in.

"Miss Rinoa? There is a gentleman who wishes your presence. Shall I let him in?"

"Gentleman? What's the date today, Maria?"

"Why, it's the twentieth, miss."

"Twentieth?" She stands up, all of a sudden full of excitement. "It must be Squall! He promised to visit me! Of course, show him in, please. Oh, and please bring in some refreshments."

"Very good, miss."

Maria then leaves the room, and Rinoa walks over to the mirror to fix her hair.

"Hey Rinoa."

Turning around, she says, "Seifer? What are you doing here?"

"What? Can't I even visit my best friend without being questioned?" He looks away.

"No, it's just that I was expecting Squall. He is supposed to be here. He told you that, right?"

"Mr. Leader had to attend to some duties so he sent me." Shrugging his shoulders, he adds, "What can you expect of a leader? Work before play."

Looking down in disappointment, she sighs. "Oh. I guess it can't be helped. There are more important things."

"Forget about him. I came to entertain and that's what I'm going to do! It must be boring here. Why are you even here?"

"The old man said that I couldn't stay put and out of trouble for a month if I tried. So I bet him a half million gil that I could. So here I am. You think it's worth it?"

He smirks. "Well, from the look on your face, I'd say no. Besides, if you need Squall for company, you must be desperate! Should've asked for me first."

"Always there to please, Seifer. What did you bring me?" she asks, gesturing to the bag in his hand.

"This? Everyone sent things for you. It's amazing what they do in a few weeks. They have no lives."

Giggling, she says, "Quit it, Seifer. No one is as adventurous as you."

He shrugs. "Oh well, what can you do? Here, they wanted me to show you the pictures first. Can you believe this? They made a statue of their leader. Shameless, I tell you!"

"Wow! This looks so much like him! It's Squall etched in stone. I'll have to frame this!"

"Don't bother. They didn't really make a statue of him." He pauses. "I petrified him."

"You petrified him??? How in the world did he allow you to do that?"

"Didn't say anything about his permission. When his guard is down, it's amazing what one can do."

"So, how long did it take for someone to come along?"

"Eh, the instructor came along almost immediately. I just had enough time to take his photo before she healed him. Won't even let me have a little fun."

"Yes, I can see why."

Before he can show her the next picture, Squall bursts in.

"Seifer! You die!"

Hiding behind Rinoa, he asks, "What's this about?"

"Squall, are you ok, dear?" asks Rinoa.

"No, I am not ok!" he bursts out. "This idiot of a man is always fooling with me! I can't get a decent rest with him about. If it's not petrifying me, he's putting me to sleep! I'm sorry I was late, Rinoa, but 'someone' cast sleep on me."

"Seifer?"

"You can't blame me, can you? I just want to have a little one on one with my best friend without puberty boy sticking around."

She giggles and nods. As Squall is about to charge Seifer, Rinoa walks up to him and hugs him.
