Laurel is a grand daughter of the great Smiths Streak.She comes from Junior Jukebox and Streaks Hannah.
Junior was a wonderful show dog but more than that he was an outstanding hunting dog!! Hannah is a fine example of a Streak bred dog and I am proud to own one of her pups.
At an early age Laurel started treeing her own squirrels and is an "on the wood"tree dog.She gets there fast and stays put!!She has a voice that is outstanding and a chop that will send shivers down your spine.
I look forward to many years of competition and pleasure hunting Laurel.
There are alot of people our there that are new to squirrel dogs and often ask the question "Will it ruin a squirrel dog to live with me in the house?". Well, Laurel is my house dog and lives up to the old saying "The proofs in the puddin!" No, it will not hurt a dog to live in the house with the family!! Laurel is one of the best young dogs I have seen and she has slept in my bed since she was 6 weeks old.
