This is my '98 Fender Precision, the one I had to shovel horse shit to get. I know there are more sophisticated basses, but I still like Fenders.
And this one is the Gibson EBO I borrowed from the school before I was able to afford my Fender. It wasn't exactly a beginner's bass, what with it weighing a ton, having all those switches and knobs, and that pretty sharp "v" neck. As I progressed, however, I really learned to appreciate it's tone, especially while slapping.
Here's the amp I used while I was in Jazz Band, too... A fucking Crate 80 watt keyboard amp. Blegghh... Oh, well! It got me out there.
