| In my opinion, people shouldn't cheat at Scrabble, or any other game for that matter. The reason why Scrabble is fun is the challenge. Most people can choose letters to make nice words, but the fun is in the restrictions..not knowing which letters will be next, on your rack or on the board, roughly calculating frequencies to determine probabilities, and manipulating the situation to hit that triple twice, among others. I understand that some people have a thrill in cheating. It has nothing to do with the game at all. It's about escaping notice on a wrong play. I say, if you want ot play Scrabble, we'll play Scrabble. I didn't sign on to play anything else and you're ruining it! |
