-signed with the WWF in the spring of '99 and immediately assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling, a developmental territory.
-spent all of 1999 and 2000 in Ohio Valley, becoming a top star there, including winning the OVW Championship and winning the Southern Tag Titles with John Cena.
-starting touring on the WWE house show circuit in the fall of 2001 and early 2002.
-debuted on WWF TV on the March 19 SmackDown as the stylist for Billy and Chuck.
-managed them at WrestleMania in their Tag Title defense against The Acolytes, The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz in a four corners match.
-the trio of Chuck, Billy & Rico were Vince McMahon's fifth draft pick for SmackDown during the brand expansion draft and lottery.
-at Judgment Day in May, McMahon appointed Rico to be Rikishi's partner in a Tag Title match against Billy and Chuck, and Rikishi won the belts for his team despite Rico.
-they dropped the belts back to Billy & Chuck on the June 4 SmackDown due to Rico turning on Rikishi.
-on the September 12 SmackDown, Billy & Chuck did a same sex wedding publicity stunt that ended with Billy & Chuck admitting they weren't gay and then Rico turned on them and joined up with Eric Bischoff, Rosey & Jamal and ruined the preceedings.
-Rico then switched over to Bischoff's RAW brand after that.
-he managed Jamal & Rosey in a win over Billy & Chuck at Unforgiven in September.
-teamed with Jamal & Rosey, now collectively called 3 Minute Warning, in a loss to Jeff Hardy, Spike and Bubba Ray Dudley in a tables match at Survivor Series.
