Warriors versus Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst)

These two schools have met four times in playoff games --- with the Warriors leading the series 3-1. The Warriors defeated thr Badgers in 2008 in a CIF Central Section Division III semi-final game.
In 2003, the Warriors defeated Yosemite in Oakhurst, 14-10, to win the Sequoia Division large school section championship.
Yosemite High School is located in Oakhurst, CA., 14 miles south of the entrance to Yosemite National Park, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The Yosemite Badgers are members of the of the Central Sequoia League along with Sierra, Chowchilla, Kerman, Dos Palos, and others.

Behind the efforts of #32 Quint Brown (pictured above), Yosemite High won a section championship in 2002.
The Badgers returned to the finals in 2003, but were upset by the Warriors in Oakhurst, 14-10.
