Friday's Loss Ends West's Winning Streak
West dropped down to 5-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins.
The game between the Vikings and the Tehachapi Warriors didn't end well, with the Vikings
falling 42-26. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.
Despite the loss, West still got an impressive performance from Solomon Harris,
who rushed for 175 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.3 yards per carry.
Harris is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 104 every time
he's taken the field this season.
As for Tehachapi, the win got them back to even at 4-4. They haven't had any
issues with West recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Tehachapi's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came
from Austin Rolow, who rushed for 117 yards and three scores on only 12 carries.
Those 117 rushing yards gave Rolow a new career-high. Colton Michael was another
key player, rushing for 76 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West will venture away
from home to square off against East Bakersfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against
the Blades' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.63 points per contest),
so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Tehachapi
they will head out on the road to challenge Golden Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
