WASCO -- Robert Wright gained 111 yards on 14 carries and scored two early touchdowns to lead the Warriors to a South Sequoia League victory. Brad Taylor and Louis James each scored a second-half touchdown for Tehachapi.
Tehachapi jumped in front early after forcing a three-and-out on Wasco's first possession, then scored on a 16-yard run by Wright to cap a seven-play, 51-yard drive.
The key play on the drive was a first down off a fake punt on a fourth-and-two from Wasco's 43 yard-line. Tehachapi converted 4-of-6 fourth down attempts in the game.
