TULARE -- Tanner Hutchinson ran for four touchdowns to lead Tehachapi High past Tulare Union, 42-24, on Friday in a non-league football game.
Tehachapi's first three touchdowns came from blocked punts -- two on short drives and the other a run back.
Hutchinson's first TD, a 1-yard run, came on the first play after a blocked punt. Matt Patience ran a blocked punt 17 yards for the next touchdown and Hutchinson capped a 33-yard drive with a 7-yard run early in the second quarter.
Hutchinson, who finished with 116 yards rushing on 21 carries, got another TD on an 8-yard run in the second quarter and finished the scoring with an 11-yard TD run.
AJ Barcelona threw two TD passes -- 29 yards to Kris Haycock and 51 yards to Fernando Sun -- as the Warriors evened their record at 2-2.
