Warriors Crush Tulare, 44-14

TEHACHAPI -- Tanner Hutchinson rushed for 183 yards -- all but one of them in the first half -- and scored two touchdowns to help the Warriors improve to 3-0 with a non-league win.
A Tulare Union player, tight end Jared Carvallo, was injured during the game and taken to Tehachapi Hospital.
Hospital officials declined to state Carvallo's condition late Friday night.
But Tulare Union head coach Darren Bennett said in a telephone interview that Carvallo had suffered a concussion and the hospital had decided to transfer the player to Kern Medical Center. According to Bennett, Carvallo would undergo a CT scan and be admitted for an overnight stay.
Bennett, who's been the head coach at Tulare for eight seasons, said the severity of the concussion will be revealed during the CT scan.
A CT scan, formerly known as a CAT scan, is a method of making multiple X-ray images of parts of the body to construct a three-dimensional view.
Willie Greenan scored on a 45-yard TD pass from Greg Sanchez 14 seconds before halftime for the Warriors. Sanchez also scored the first TD of the game on a two-yard run in the first quarter.
Greenan's 45-yard score was one of three touchdowns in the final four minutes of the first half by Tehachapi.
