The Warriors and Wildcats have played each other four times; with each school winning two games apiece.
In 2024, Sunnyside defeated the Warriors 33-21 in a first-round playoff game. Ironically, by the same score,
Sunnyside knocked off Tehachapi in a second-round playoff game, 33-21, on a bitter cold night in Tehachapi.
The two schools played each other as well in back-to-back playoff games in 2011 and 2010. Both games were
quarter-final matchups and both games were won by the Warriors. In 2011, the Warriors defeated
Sunnyside 35-28 on the mountain. In 2010, Tehachapi defeated the Wildcats in Fresno, 28-7.
