1941 Warriors

Hapless Warriors Go Winless In 1941

According to the sports pages of the 1941-42 Tomahawk Yearbook, "although the team didn't hit the win column,
we doff our hats to the boys for taking it on the chin and asking for more."The 1941 Warriors were led by
their four senior players, Arthur Madding,Ben Martinez, Captain Wayne Warner, and Leopold Ramos.

Coach McCormick left Tehachapi as the Warrior coach after just one season because he was drafted (during this time of war) by the armed forces.

Shafter High School won their 4th consecutive South Sierra League Championship in 1941.
