The Warriors recorded over 500 yards of offense for the second straight week in a 49-6 win over Bakersfield-North on Thursday.

Tehachapi (9-0, 3-0 SYML) remained perfect on their season with a near-even rushing and passing offense, amassing 228 yards on the
ground and 277 yards through the air.

Quarterback Jacob Root eclipsed 1,000 yards passing for the season with the output, recording 10 completions and two touchdowns
to Cyler Hoofard and Kaleb Songer for 36 and 24 yards, respectively. Root is the first 1,000-yard passer for Tehachapi since 1999,
when Jared Romo ended that season with 1,057 yards passing in 12 games.

Andrew Aguirre had the most receiving yards on the night with 121 yards on five receptions. Mike Jones added 67 yards receiving.

The Warriors also had an effective ground assault, led by AJ Anderson with 97 yards rushing and a touchdown and Aiden Nicholson

The Vikings are coming off a 49-28 loss to Golden Valley.

Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. in Bakersfield this Thursday evening.
