Head Coach Doug DeGeer

Doug DeGeer, who grew up and played high school football in Tehachapi, succeeded HOF coach Steve Denman
as the 18th head coach in school history. DeGeer took over the program beginning with the 2017 season.

DeGeer was the head coach of the Warrior program for three years from 2017 to 2019, compiling a 10-23 overall record.
His plans to coach a fourth season were curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic which shut down the Warrior football program in 2020.

DeGeer's best season was 2017 with the Warriors winning a share of the South Yosemite League crown with a 4-1 league record.
The 2017 team also advanced to the third round of the CIF post-season playoffs.

DeGeer was an English teacher at Tehachapi High School and had been an assistant coach on both the freshman football
and junior varsity baseball teams.
