Tehachapi enjoyed a return to the top of the SSL heap in 2010, securing their sixth South Sequoia League title in seven years.

Helping Tehachapi achieve their goal was Mackenzie Eberle and Alyssa Cowee, who were All-SSL second team selections and Rachel Duff, who was an honorable mention all-league pick.

Eberle closed her junior season with 3.6 points per game, a team-leading 65 assists and 56 steals and 80 total rebounds. Cowee was a towering force at center, closing her senior season with 128 rebounds and 5.8 points per game.

Duff was a vocal force and one of the best defensive players in the league, with her intensity giving her 112 rebounds, 27 steals and 3.4 points per game in transition offense.

Below is a breakdown of all first team SSL selections:

Persephonie Devereaux - Senior

The talented senior closed out her stellar Warrior career as the team leader in rebounds with 219, 35 steals and collected 7.3 points per game. The inside presence by Devereaux opened up the outside shots for Tehachapi and the path to a SSL championship.

Amanda Viselli - Junior

The junior guard had the highest offensive marks on the team, scoring 10.5 points per game and a team leading 284 points, including 34 three-pointers. Viselli also closed out her All-SSL season with 36 assists, 51 steals and 48 rebounds.

Paige Bennett - Sophomore

Bennett was named as the rookie of the year by the league coaches, and was widely regarded as one of the top ball handlers in the SSL. She finished with 6.4 points per game, second on the team with 40 assists, and hauled in 70 rebounds.
