Katie Avila, one of the most prolific players in Tehachapi Warrior basketball history, is in her third season as a member of the Division I Cal St. Fullerton Titans.

In her junior season, she has appeared in all 25 Titans' games and has averaged 7 minutes per game of playing time. As of February 13, 2010, Avila has collected 36 points, 46 rebounds, 7 steals, and 3 blocked shots.

The Titans are currently 6-6 in Big West Conference play, and 11-14 for the season. The Cal Poly SLO Mustangs are currently in first place with an 9-3 record.

Wearing #14, the 5'11" forward earned a basketball scholarship to attend Cal State Fullerton after her senior season at Tehachapi High.

As a Lady Warrior, Katie played all four years on the varsity basketball team. She was the SSL MVP in both her junior and senior seasons, averaging 16.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game in her senior year. The Warriors won the SSL title all four years Katie played on the varsity.
