Warriors Top Wasco in SSL Opener

The Tehachapi Warriors began SSL play in 2010 on a high note be defeating the Wasco Tigers, 55 to 47, in Wasco, on Friday night, January 15.

The win gives the Warriors a 1-0 record in SSL play and a 12-6 season record. Wasco drops to 0-1; 4-15.

For the Warriors, the scoring parade included Dougan Patience 16, Christian Torres 14, Jordan Beardsley 8, Corey Lange 7, Levi Garrett 4, Robert Siegmund 3, Corey Torres 2, and Jason Kerns 1.

This coming week the Warriors travel to Bakersfield to play defending league champion Bakersfield Christian on Tuesday, Jan. 19; a non-league tilt with Bakersfield Adventist at home on Wednesday, Jan. 20; and a league game with Shafter at home on Friday, Jan. 22.
