Girls Finish With Final 12-10 Log
The Lady Warriors 2008-09 season came to an end in Bakersfield Tuesday night as #6 seed Ridgeview defeated Tehachapi, 42 to 31. The Warriors finish the season with a final 12-10 season record.
Ashley Osoau, the leading scorer this season for the Lady Warriors, finished the game with a stellar 18 point performance.
Ridgeview will now move on to meet Hanford West Friday night in a second round match-up in the Central Section Division III playoffs.
The Lady Warriors were coached this season by first year coach Steve Walker. While Walker is new to the girls side of the program, the veteran coach was the head man for the varsity boys program for 15 seasons.
Tehachapi will lose eight seniors this year, incuding McKenna Ramiro, Michelle Durr, Lisa Gaeta, Laura Mapes, Kara Wesley, Denise Crowley, Michelle Baxter and Ashley Asaou.
