Arvin Air Show Stuns Warriors
Arvin 35 Tehachapi 21
ARVIN -- Quarterback Alex Flores threw four touchdown passes to lead the Arvin Bears past the Tehachapi Warriors 35-21 Friday in South Sequoia League action.
Florez, who completed 16 of 21 passes, connected on a 4-yard touchdown pass with Jorge Castro in the first quarter, an 11-yard pass to Miguel Venegas in the second quarter, a 63-yard scoring strike to Matt Soto in the third and on a 19-yarder to Julian Salinas in the fourth quarter.
Salinas scored the Bears' only rushing touchdown on a 1-yard run in the second quarter.
Tehachapi scored all 21 of its points in the final quarter. Tyler Hansen scored on a 1-yard run and Lance Lang added another 1-yard touchdown run.
E.J. Muro caught a 54-yard touchdown pass for the Warriors' final points.
