I'm a Realist and an Idealist.

I'm an Evolutionist,

not a Creationist.

I'm not a Traditionalist,

I'm an Individualist

and a guerilla Ontologist.

I'm a radical Feminist,

and a Pansexualist

but I despise the reverse Chauvinists

(Does that make me a Masochist?)

I'd like to be a Taoist,

but really I'm a spiritual Tourist

and a mystical Transcendentalist;

certainly not a Dogmatist.

I can be a Hedonist,

but usually I'm just a Surrealist

trapped in the head of a Rationalist.

I may appear to be an Activist,

but really I'm a troubled Pacifist.

I used to be a Materialist

until I aspired to be a sociological Anarchist -

so therefore not much of a Capitalist

I revel in being a Narcissist,

because deep down and all around, I'm merely an Artist.

To laugh often and much

To win the respect of intelligent people

and the affection of children;

To earn the appreciation of honest critics

and to endure the betrayal of false friends

To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others;

To leave the world a bit better

whether by a healthy child, a redeemed social condition

or a job well done;

To know even one other life has breathed easier because you lived-

this is to have succeeded
