This is in response to a conversation about what SMUT stands for. Here's my version of what S.M.U.T. means....

When Mike and Carrie are together, there is So Much Unreleased Tension between those two, that it's visible to the naked eye. Actually, I'd like to see Mike give Carrie a Soothing Massage Unnerving Tension for her. But, that's another story. ;-) They've had Several Meaningful Unexplored Thoughts about each other lately, but we'd like to See More Unbridled Thoughts in the future.

But Carrie is once again trying to back away from Mike, because she's afraid She Might Unleash Totally, and never be able to regain control. In fact lately when she's around him, she Starts Mentally Undressing Together with him, and she's beginning to Suffer Miserable Unrelenting Torment because of what's been going through her mind - not to mention the accompanying guilt she feels.

Meanwhile, Mike has Silently Maintained Unspoken Truths about his love for Carrie, as well as having Successfully Muffled Unending Torrents of passion for her. He's trying to push her back to Austin in order to help save her marriage. He believes it's the right thing to do, and Such Motives Undermine Togetherness for himself and Carrie. I think he should Stop Mishandling Unrequited Thoughts of love, and tell her the truth. But he's also afraid he Seriously Might Underestimate Things, and find that she doesn't love him as much as she loves Austin. So in trying to move on with his life, he's been dating Nurse Ali. But although he's making the effort, he just can't get Carrie out of his heart. In the meantime, he Shouldn't Mislead Unsuspecting Tigger into thinking they can have a relationship. That's unfair to her.

Mike has Stayed Morally Unwavering Throughout all of this (okay, except for The Boom Kiss), and has remained Supportive, Moral, Understanding, Thoughtful, and all those other good things. In fact, Sweet Mike's Unbelievably Thoughtful, and he's Shown Mostly Unending Tenderness toward Carrie. However, it's getting him nowhere, and he's still Sad, Miserable, Unfulfilled, Tristful - well, you know. And sometimes we just want to say don't be a Schmuck Mike, Uncork Temptation. Let loose. Tell Carrie how you feel about her. Go for it. Tell her you love her. Don't hold back any longer. Jump over that desk and kiss her as though there were no tomorrow! Grab her and throw her on the couch! Rip her clothes off! Make mad, passionate love to her!! Devour her with reckless abandon until you become two sweaty bodies entwined in a frenzy of untamed lust!!! MAKE HER BEG FOR MERCY!!!! *oops* Sorry, I guess I... got a little carried away. *eh hem*

Now, where was I? Oh yes. Mike and Carrie both know they Should Manage Urges Toward each other, but it's getting harder to do so. Whenever they're close, Such Magnetic Undercurrents Travel between them, and soon they won't be able to Stop Mounting Unresolved Turmoil that continues to build. They've both been Secretly Masking Unquenchable Thirsts for one another, and they must be careful, or it could lead to Several Major Uncontrollable Transgressions. And in working together, they Still Might Unintentionally Tempt fate just by being around each other.

At least they're more relaxed with each other now. They used to Seem Most Uncomfortable Together because of their unacknowledged feelings. But now they've grown closer, and have even talked about their feelings - sort of anyway. They've openly discussed The Boom Kiss, which was a Significant Moment Unlike Temptation they had previously experienced. But now they have a Stated Mutual Understanding Together that they won't let that happen again. But if they could just Simply Manage Unwinding Together for a little longer, their conversation would go further, and they might actually admit they love each other. They Should Merely Unload Totally, and get everything out in the open.

We know Mike and Carrie are So Magically Unbelievable Together, and saying they don't belong with each other is Such Mindless Unfounded Taradiddle. But unfortunately, it's a Struggle Mostly Unto Themselves that they have to deal with. And they'll have to Suffer More Ultimate Tests of their resistance before the story's done. Before Carrie can come to grips with her feelings for Mike, She Must Undergo Transformation, and face her feelings toward Austin and their marriage. In fact, Carrie and Mike both Sincerely Must Understand Themselves and what they're feeling before they can deal with it.

But for Mike and Carrie to get together soon, it will take a Sheer Miracle Unless Throes of passion do indeed overwhelm them. They just need a bit more Starfish, Moonlight, Uninhibited Talking.... to move things along. A few more trips to the terrace would probably do the trick! We'd really like to See More Uplifting Tactics involved here.

Mike and Carrie have Supercouple Magic Unshakably Timeless in nature, and they make a Sensational Magnificent Unbeatable Team. They were meant to be together, and they love each other - Soul, Mind, Utterly, Totally. They are each other's Solely Matched Unequaled Truelove, and we won't rest until we see these Soul Mates United Together forever. We want to see them eventually make it to the altar, and Stay Married Until Time runs out. But until this happens, we can only remember the dreams, the fantasies, The Boom Kiss... and Savor Memories Until Tomorrow....

What?? Not enough S.M.U.T. you say? Well....

We know that a Shirtless Mike Undeniably Tantalizes many who like to see his Sexy Muscular Uncovered Torso. Many find him Salacious, Magnetic, Unforgettable, Titillating - well, I could go on and on.... ;-P
