Donnie is the founding member of Smackin' Daddies, having rounded up Jason, Tony and Billy in December of 1998. Donnie also invited Mr. Twisty to join the smackin' family in July of this year.
Donnie plays guitar and is probably the most expierenced of the five having
played in many other local bands, such as Nasty Trast, H8 Machine, Pipe and Nickel to name just a few.
Donnie's raw, powerful, loud and addictive style guitar lays down a very intimidating sound to songs
such as Praise, Cold and Trauma.
He is definitely one of the greater guitarists to have ever come out of Rochester.
When asked about his musical career, Donnie merely said, "Life's full of ups and downs, but I just wanna jam."Along with being an awesome guitarist, Donnie is also a great person and friend. Billy Biehler (vocalist) says, "If it weren't for Donnie, I wouldn't be here doing what I love."
Jason Lickers (drummer) as not only a band mate but a close friend of Donnie's says, "He's the nicest asshole you'd ever want to meet."
