HORROR HALL!

Home

Okay, here's a bit of info (a PUNY bit of info!) about Shadow Weaver's hangout- Horror Hall! *x-files music* Okay, Horror Hall lies inside the Nameless Volcano (yeah, good on ya, Filmation!). It's this wierd-looking place, as you can see in the picture above, and almost looks as if it was at one stage destined to be Scorpia's lair. From what we see of it in the entire series (*blank look*), it's kinda dark except for the place where Shadow Weaver has all the potions and stuff. Her throneroom is really cool (check out 'The Crystal Castle' where we get this great shot of her watching Brightmoon in the pit, also shown below), with this huge... let's just call it pit... that her throne hangs over.

There are many platforms and things around that area, and those of you who are afraid of heights would never ever want to be there! Leading up to the entrance, there are many stone gargoyles. Sometimes Shadow Weaver brings them to life to attack intruders. But the real guard to the entrance of Horror Hall is Nightfire, a big, orange, two-headed dragon that can freeze you in an icey prison if it hits you with one of the lasers it shoots from its eyes. Shadow Weaver has these little part-rat, part-rabbit, part-man creatures running around the place that appear to be her servents.

Around the entrance to Horror Hall are very tall, white, stone pillars with stone gargoyles on top. Shadow Weaver has bought these to life before to attack some enemies (namely Norwyn and She-Ra!). At the base of the pillars are just reddy-brown bushes.

The place where Shadow Weaver does most of her work, never really given a name, has shelves upon shelves of books. I mean like probably thousands of books! Probably all of them are spell books. There’s this weird looking specimen Shadow Weaver keeps there in one of those big things filled with preserving liquids you see those guys trapped in in sci-fi movies! It sure looks like an alien, and it’s a pity she never brings it to life or talks about it or anything. There’s also another interesting specimen that looks like a giant caterpillar, which I might add, it very well may be! Again, nothing’s ever said about it! She keeps it above her lectern with the big, thick spellbook on it. How you could concentrate on spells with those things staring at ya I’ll never know! The She-Ra he-Man Ep Review Site!
