Seacliff / Warrington
Produced by the Otago University Dive Club
Access: Often a long walk through paddocks required
Weather / Sea conditions: Exposed to the north and east only. Sheltered from the northwest, west and south.
Visibility: 3 - 6 metres, often better.
Description: Good snorkelling on shallow rocky reefs and outcrops. Be aware some locals may not approve of divers traipsing across their land to get access so ask permission first. Extensive beds of bladder kelp make diving like swimming through a tall forest. Good fish life, including Greenbone, Moki, Trumpeter, Red and Blue cod.
Depth: Mostly 5 - 10 metres.
