Doctor's Point / Purakanui

Access: Pretty good on both sides of the point, though a short walk along the beach is required.
Weather / Sea conditions: Exposed to the north, northeast and east only. Especially well sheltered from the south.
Visibility: Usually 10-12 metres but the sandy bottom can be stirred up at times, bringing it down significantly.
Description: There is a small rocky reef bordered by white sand. Good snorkelling, with plenty of
Moki during summer.
Depth: Max 12 metres
