It is very easy to fall behind in Internet courses. Because of this, there are certain checkpoints during the semester that you should meet. There is a deadline for each of the eight exams in this course. They are as follows:

The above dates are those by which the test must be submitted to me. If you find yourself unable to meet a given deadline, you must contact me prior to the deadline, explaining the reasons you will be unable to meet it. After consideration of the circumstances, an extension of the deadline may be made. This is entirely at the professor's discretion.

It is extremely important that you finish this course by its end-date of August 24; failure to do so can endanger your eligibility for financial aid in the following semester. There are federal guidelines for federally-funded financial aid programs, and colleges may not deviate from the guidelines.

The deadline for withdrawing from the course with a full tuition refund is June 4. The deadline for withdrawing from the course without a grade being issued is July 7. Students who cannot complete the course successfully and wish to withdraw to avoid a failing grade must do so by this date.
