Here's a small section of pictures that show my immediate surroundings.
It's nothing special but I thought I should just put some up anyway to
give you a more complete image of where I live.
This is just a picture of the road right outside my apartment. There's a gas station on the left side with a really nice family running it. There's also a small road going off to the left. You can take this road deep into the mountains and check out the wild boar that inhabit the mountains here. You might even see a monkey if you're lucky, or not.
This picture was taken before I recieved my car. I was given a bike when I first got here. Needless to say I really coudln't get anywhere with just a bike. This log cabin is one of the 3 restaurants in this village. It's called "Tanukiya" or the Racoon house. They have number of hand thrown Udon soups and other traditional Japanese meals. Not bad. I actually eat there fairly often. My rage right now seems to be the Tonkatsu Curry.
This picture
is really close to the mountain pass that will take you to Tokushima City
(the main city in this prefecture). It's about 10 minutes from my
apartment to this point.
