"If Japan has any nature left in it it's been either coated in concrete
or altered in some other manner." About
7 months ago I agreed with this statement, then I visited several places
in Tokushima prefecture in which nature is still preserved.
Here are some pictures I've taken of these places.

This is the Anabuki River. It actually runs through my village and is said to be one of the cleanest and most beautiful rivers in japan. I hate to say it but a clean river or body of water is as hard to find in Japan as it is New York. |

This beautiful picture of Japan's Autumn colors or Momiji was taken along the Super Forrest Road in the mountain town of Kamiyama. Talk about preserving nature, this place doesn't even have paved roads. |

My personal favorite is the Ogama waterfall in the mountain village of Kisawa. It's said that giant serpent sleeps at the bottom of the lake. What do you think ^_^x |
