Remember LIVE AID?

It was a two concert (in Philadelphia and London) extravaganza put together in an effort to help draw attention to a devastating famine in Ethiopia.

It brought together a large number of musicians from different genres in an all-day event that was broadcast worldwide.

LIVE AID culminated an effort begun by Irish musician Bob Geldof which included star-studded records like Band-Aid's "Do They Know Its Christmas?" and USA for Africa's "We Are The World."
