Toussaint DuBeau, our first ancestor in this country and
those of the families "DuBeau" "Bubault"
and Dubeault" were originally from France.
He was married in Quebec May 23, 1678
to Anne Jousselot. But he had been married before
to Marguerite D'Amy in France. From the first
marrige he had two children,
one boy and one girl;and from
the second marriage he had eleven children;
seven boys and four girls.
The descendants of Toussanint DuBeau multiplied
especially in the regions of Quebec, Charlesbourg,
Beauport, the county of Joliette and even in Ontario.
Toussaint DuBeau, our first ancestor originating
or
native from Paris, married to Marguerite D'Amy in 1659.
This ancestor signed Toussaint "dubau"
which means son of "the nice".
He lived in Charlesbourg and in the city of Quebec.
Toussaint's first family were two members,
