Wicked Warning

Expected to just jump into Chapter 1---didn’t you?

Don’t worry; you’ll be able to read it soon. But first I feel the need to give you a warning of sorts. This has been a long time coming (i.e. me actually writing this), however, I believe it is necessary for you to be prepared for the saga I’ve composed.

Wicked Seduction is NOT a romantic interlude for Buffy and Angelus. The dark vampire is NOT soft, kind, or generous. Frankly, he is a bastard, among other things. Buffy is NOT flawlessly strong, wise, or perfect. To be honest, she is fragile and struggling to find herself.

I’ve written this story based on several notions. The first is: how do you know what true strength is if you’ve never fallen? How can you consider yourself wise if you’ve never made mistakes? How can you know what you’re made of until you’ve dragged yourself out of the pits of your self-made Hell?

While I have done my best to keep all familiar faces within character, there is a shift that is necessary to make my vision work. This story is not to showcase Buffy the way she was portrayed in the TV show during late Season 2. I’ve taken the position in Wicked Seduction of this: Buffy is a 17 year-old girl who just lost the love of her life because of what she believes are her mistakes. She is left to be tormented and seduced by a creature who wears his face, but not his soul. She fights to find her place, not only in the world, but also in the hearts of all she loves.

Therefore in my story Buffy does not have all the answers. Slayer or not, she’s just a young girl. So there’s no way she could successfully battle against Angelus, a vampire who has centuries over her.

And so Buffy will be taken to the limit, emotionally and physically, oftentimes past it, but there is an end in sight. Although the following material is often cruel, there is meaning to her misery. Redemption is possible, but never easy.

For the Saint and the Sinner.

Angelus is not left in this story to be a flat villain with destruction and death on his mind. True, those are a part of his character, but what I hope to achieve is to bring out the facets that were neglected in the show. For Angelus, Buffy is a disease in his brain that has no cure. How he chooses to exist with it often drives the plot forward. The small-screen chose to have him attempt to destroy the world.

I choose for him to attempt to destroy Buffy and himself…

So please be cautioned that the following story contains: angst (a LOT of it), violence, graphic sexual situations, anal, oral, sexual violence, passion, blood play, rape, death, torture, obsession, love, and hope.

And as a last warning, if you will: all misery has purpose and meaning. Only if you are willing to find it.
