| Rarely
- but wrongly if so - mentioned these days, Eskimos and Egypt were one of those Utah
Saints-type rock/rave crossovers that pottered round the charts back in the day. "UK:USA" was the hardest of the brace of single release back in the day by E+E, with a remix from Joey Beltram for credibility on the flip, but be sure to check out "Welcome to the Future" and the wicked "Perfect Disease" album for a taste of the other side of early 90s rave. |

| Some time ago I listed Lords of Acid in the R.O.T.M. section, and it's about
time Praga Khan showed his face again here. Going under his own and the Digital Orgasm
names, Mr Khan was (and still is) a prolific writer. Maybe only Michael Wells of GTO had
more pseudonyms. "God of Abraham" is a typical 1991 euro record - relying more on the tune than the standard chunky breaks formula - but like E+E above tends to be forgotten when "Injected With a Poison" gets stuck on yet another dodgy rave compilation. So be sure to check out anything Khan, Oliver Adams (partner) or Jade 4U (vocalist) released - you won't be disappointed. |
