My Mother, Your Father

"Alright you little brat!" Jessie yelled as she tried to grab Ash by the neck. "I'm gonna finish you off once and for all!"

"Ahhhhhh!" Ash yelled as he tried to back away from Jessie.

"Jessie! Jessie!" James yelled grabbing her arm. "Stop it! Stop it!"

Jessie was beyond convincing. She had death in her eyes.

"Sorry James," She said trying to break away from his grasp. "I'M-FED-UP-WITH-THIS-KID!" She lunged out at Ash again.

"Misty!" Ash yelled as Jessie wrapped her hands around his neck. His voice grew softer. "Brock! Help me!"

Just as Misty and Brock were about to call out their Pokémon an eerie mist flooded the area and two silhouetted figures stood in front of Ash and Jessie.

"Prepare for trouble!" Butch yelled as he stepped out of the mist.

Jessie released her grasp on Ash's neck. Misty and Brock ran over to him.

"Are you okay Ash?" Misty asked, worried.

"I'm fine." He gasped for air.

"You're the one's who should prepare for trouble!" Jessie yelled, facing Cassidy and Butch.

"You two don't even know how to say the motto!" Cassidy said, standing between Butch and Jessie.

"You've just made your trouble, double." James said, joining the fight.

"I'm the one who has the next line." Butch said stepping out in front. The two Team Rockets faced each other, staring the same gender down.

"To protect the world from devastation." Jessie forcefully said, stepping toward her rival.

"To infect the world with devastation." Cassidy spat back at Jessie.

"To unite all peoples within out nation." James spat at Butch.

"To blight all peoples in every nation." Butch said as he shoved his face in James's.

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!" Jessie said, trying to push Cassidy out of the way.

"The goodness of truth and love!" Cassidy yelled, pushing Jessie out of the way.

"Reach to the stars above!" James said as he pushed Butch face away with his.

"Wrath to the stars above!" Butch said pushing his face back into its original position.

"Jessie!"

"Cassidy!"

"James!"

"Butch!"

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Team Rocket circling Earth all day and night!"

"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"

"Surrender to us now or you will surely lose the fight!"

They all stood there panting, still watching each other's every move.

Just then, a rock came flying trough the air and landed between the rivaling rocketeers.

Two teenagers came running over the hill. One of them a girl and the other a boy. The both wore similar Team Rocket uniforms. The girl had on baggy blue jeans and a black shirt with a small red "R" over a long-sleeved light gray shirt. The boy was just the opposite, except he had on black pants.

"I'm sorry!" The boy said gasping for air. His hair color was the same as Cassidy's and his bangs hung in his eyes. His eyes were the same color of Butch's, dark brown. "Did that hit anyone?"

"No…" Cassidy began, looking at the strange teenagers.

The girl came running over the hill with a strangely shaped case. Her hair color was the same as Butch's and was flipped up in the back and in the front hung in two large strands. Her eyes were the same color as Cassidy's, a deep purple.

"Zach!" She yelled throwing down the case. "I can't believe you tricked me into bringing this!" She yelled pointing to the case. "You know how much I hate caring it around!"

"Sorry Zelda." He said sheepishly. "It was a pretty good joke. Oh yeah, you have terrible aim."

"Why you little…" Zelda slowly said. She suddenly burst into a run and tackled Zach. "Say uncle!"

"Uncle!" He yelled trying to release Zelda's grasp on his arm. Cassidy, Butch, Jessie, James, Ash, Misty, and Brock just stood there.

Zelda looked up at the dumfounded people.

"Oh sorry, I forgot to introduce myself." She said standing up and brushed of the dirt from her black shirt. "My name is Zelda and this is my twin brother, Zachariah."

"Zach for short." He said, picking up Zelda 's strange case. "Here's your stupid trombone. I'm not carrying it.

"It's not stupid!" She yelled at him. "What are you guys staring at?"

"Nothing…" Ash, Misty and Brock said in unison. Brock was slowly turning a shade of pick. A small smile slowly spread across his face.

"Stop yer staring!" She yelled as she whacked him across the head with her case. Brock fell to the ground with a thump.

"It's rude not to give us your names after we've given ours." Zach said stepping over the fallen Brock.

"Jessie."

"James."

"Ash."

"Misty."

"Brock."

"Cassidy."

"Butch."

Zelda and Zach stared at Cassidy and Butch.

"Mom, Dad?" Zach said, still staring at Cassidy and Butch.

"Mom?" Cassidy said looking at Zach.

"Dad?" Butch questioned Zelda. "I can't be your dad, I'm not even married."

"Yeah, me neither." Cassidy said.

"You're such and idiot Zach, they're only seventeen!" Zelda said, bobbing Zach on the head with her fist. "Hey what year is it?"

"2000." Jessie answered.

"Ahhh! We're not born for three years!" Zelda screamed. "I'm -3 years old! Hey, I still look great tough."

"Shut up." Zach said, kicking Zelda in the shin. "Meowth's time machine really worked. Who'd to think that a PokéBall, some silly putty and a dead AAA battery would make a time machine?"

"This is all just swell stuff." Ash said, picking up his Pikachu. "But I think we'll be going now."

"Don't think so!" Zelda said, grabbing Ash's shirt. "If only you were three years older…"

"Don't start that crap again." Zach sighed. "Come on, let's have a picnic or something like that!"

"Yummy!" James squealed. "Food!"

So they all sat down under a big tree, which provided plenty of shade. Zelda and Zach brought over a picnic basket.

"You guys look so young." Zelda sighed.

"What are you talking about!?" Jessie yelled throwing down her sandwich.

"Shall we tell them?" Zach asked.

"I will Psyduck brains." Zelda said, clearing her throat. "Jessie, James. You two will get married and have to kids, twins like us. Ruka, my best friend. And Ryer, Zach's best friend."

Jessie and James slowly turned their heads toward each other.

"And Ash, Misty, you two will also marry each other and have a son named Matt." Zach added smiling at the blushing kids.

"Me marry her!" Ash yelled pointing to Misty as if she was last week's garbage.

"Me marry him!" Misty yelled backing away from Ash.

"Ahhh, Matt is soooooo hot…" Zelda began, her eyes turning into hearts. "I'm so glad he's my boyfriend and not Ryer…"

"Oh shut up Zelda …" Zach sighed. He then turned to Jessie and James. "Where's Meowth?"

"Doing Meowth things…" James replied.

"What about me?" Brock asked, still blushing.

"You." Zelda said spitting out the word. "Are to marry Officer Jenny and have one daughter named Jennifer."

Brock just stared at her.

"Well, this is just wonderful." Ash said eyeing Zelda and Zach. "But I think we should go now…" Then Misty, Brock and Ash quickly got up and walked away.

"And Dad, Mom." Zelda said, turning once more to Cassidy and Butch. "You'll marry and have us, the two little angels from heaven." She smiled brilliantly at them.

"You're no angel when you get near that trombone of yours." Zach laughed.

"I'll show you!" She yelled, and then quickly assembled a silver trombone.

"How'd you pay for that?" Butch asked looking at the silver trombone.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. You guys own the Viridian City Gym. All of you, even Meowth." Zach added.

"What happened to the Boss?" Jessie asked worriedly.

"Oh that old hag died of a heart attack. Good riddance I say." Zelda said, saying it as if it were nothing. "Now all of you will get to hear my wonderful performing!"

"Help me God…" Zach said, stuffing his fingers into his ears.

Zelda began playing a march. She played especially loud to annoy Zach.

"Thank you." She said bowing. "Now applause. Just throw money. Or Pokémon."

Jessie and James stood up.

"Uh, we gotta go." James said.

"Yeah. Gotta catch those brats and their Pikachu." Jessie quickly added. "And find that rotten thing of fur meat we call Meowth.

"Bye!" Zelda yelled to the running duo. "See you in a few years!"

"I have one question to ask you guys." Butch said slowly. "What's with your uh, uniforms?"

"Oh, we joined the New Team Rocket when we were 10." Zelda easily said. "I hated the uniforms girls had to wear, and I actually didn't really fit well into one…"

"And I hated what boys had to wear." Zach added.

"And since you, Mom, Jessie, and James run the New Team Rocket. You let us make up our own uniforms. Naturally, I choose this." Zelda said pointing to her shirt and pants.

"And since you're the biggest Tom Boy I've ever seen in my life…" Zach added with a sly smile.

"What's it to you if I hate dresses?" She said, knocking Zach down.

"You guys are making my head hurt." Butch moaned.

"I also have a question." Cassidy said, standing up. "How old are you?"

"Thirteen." Zelda said. "But right now I'm -3. Isn't that really nice to say?" She started chomping down on her sandwich then let out a small yelp. "Ouch!"

"What's the matter?" Cassidy and Butch asked standing up and walking over.

"It's these dang braces of mine. Why'd you make me get them?" She asked rubbing her cheek. "I hate it when the wire gets caught in my inside cheek."

"Nah, nah!" Zach said, lowering his eyelid and sticking out his tongue. "I'll never have to deal with them."

"You…" Zelda began, forming her hand into a fist.

"My you quarrel a lot." Cassidy said eyeing them. "How do we put up with it?"

"You just yell and kick us outside." Zelda said, putting Zach into a headlock. Zach broke free and backed away.

"You've gone too far Zelda, we need to have a fight." Zach said, reaching for a PokéBall. He walked to one side of the big tree.

"Bring it on." Zelda snickered as she walked to the opposite side, facing Zach. "This might get a little violent, so I suggest you two back away." Cassidy and Butch didn't hesitate, they quickly got up and walked a few feet away and sat down.

"Alright sis, lets us all of our Pokémon. You know six on six." He said, throwing a PokéBall up and catching it. "For my first Pokémon, I choose Charizard." He threw the ball and out popped a huge red fire breathing lizard.

"Bad choice bro, come and fight… Blastoise!" Zelda yelled as she through the PokéBall and out popped a huge blue tortoise. Out of his back came two very large water cannons.

"Tisk, tisk." Zach sighed, waving his figure back and forth. "My Charizard can withstand water." He said, smiling. "For a little bit…" He added softly.

"But can it withstand ground attacks? Blastoise, Fissure!" She yelled, pointing to the Charizard.

"Fissure?! When'd you teach it that? Watch out Charizard watch out!" It was too late; Blastoise thrust all his energy into the ground and sent a huge wave of energy through the ground toward the ground. The tree was spilt in half. "Charizard, quickly! Mimic!"

"Blastoise, Dig! Doge the fault!" Zelda yelled pointing to the ground. The Blastoise tucked himself into a ball and speed into the solid ground. The wave of energy was too strong and fast. It hit Blastoise with full force. The Pokémon was thrown into the air, unconscious before it became airborne.

"Blastoise! Return!" Zelda said as she raised the PokéBall and Blastoise was sucked back into the ball.

"Good work Charizard!" Zach said, letting out a small laugh.

"Come and fight… …Kabutops! Slash! Aim for Chairzard's main artery!" Zelda yelled with a deadly smirk on her face.

Butch had a blank look on his dumbfounded face.

"Has any of your Pokémon every died in one of these matches?" Cassidy asked, fear in her voice.

"Oh no. But my Kabutops practically killed Charizard." Zelda said smiling at the bleeding Charizard.

"Darn you! Charizard, I hope your still alive, but return!" Zach said, a small tear trickled down his cheek. "Say goodbye to your Kabutops sis. Prepare to meet the ultimate Pokémon. I choose you." He threw a strangely colored PokéBall. After the red light faded away there stood a Mewtwo clenching its fists, ready to battle to the death.

"What!?" Zelda, Cassidy, and Butch said in unison.

"I found it in Giovanni’s old desk." Zach said with an evil laugh.

"Alright, this match is over!" Zelda yelled. She took out a PokéBall. "I'm not letting you kill any of my Pokémon." Kabutops got sucked into his PokéBall.

"Alright, Mewtwo, return." He said as Mewtwo was sucked back into the strangely colored PokéBall.

"Tricked yah! Chuchino! Go! Electrocute Zach!" Zelda yelled with a smile as a small yellow mouse let forth a small amount of electricity.

"Ouchie…" Zach said in a small voice after Chuchino was done. Then he burst into a run and tackled Zelda.

Cassidy and Butch watched their "children" wrestle each other-yelling insults every now and then. Did they ever get along?

“Guys!” Butch said as he ran over to the quarreling twins. He tried to pull them apart, but it was useless. “What do we do Cassidy?”

“Uhh,” She stood there thinking. “I’ve got it! Who’s hungry?”

At the sound of food the two twins stopped their fighting and shook their heads yes.

“I want hamburgers!” Zelda yelled, picking up her trombone. “Hey Dad, would you please carry this for me? Pretty please with sugar and Pokémon on top?”

“I guess so.” Butch said as he took the case from Zelda. His arm sunk down with the surprise of the weight. “Man, how much does this weigh?”

“I dunno.” Zelda said, shrugging her shoulders. "You said go for what instrument you really like, so I went for the trombone."

Butch just looked at her like a cow looks on an on coming train.

"Oh well…" Butch sighed lifting up and down the case to get use to the weight. "Hey, this isn't that heavy after awhile."

"Hey, uh, son, Zach." Cassidy asked. "Do you play something?"

"Yep." Zach said with a small smile. "I play trumpet. 1st chair too."

"Hey, I'm 1st chair of trombones!" Zelda spat back at Zach.

"Stop it you too or you… …uh… …You won't get any desert. Yeah!" Butch scolded the twins.

They stopped.

"Where's the nearest restaurant?" Zelda asked, looking around. "We don't actually know this place all that well."

"Where do you live any way?" Cassidy asked.

"Crimson City." Zach informed the two. "You moved the gym's location to a newly found city."

Butch and Cassidy nodded. Then they started walking toward a nearby PikaBurger joint.

"Hey, wait up!" Zelda yelled, grabbing Zach by the shirt collar and running toward their 'mom and dad'.

-

"So wadda want?" Butch asked, looking over the menu. His 'children' were fighting over the sugar packets.

"Can we uh… Get this to go, they're fighting again…" Cassidy whispered to Butch. He nodded in agreement.

"Waiter, oh waiter!" Butch yelled over to a woman dressed in a pikachu outfit. She turned toward him.

"Wadda want Mr. I-Smoke-Ten-Packs-A-Day?" She asked rudely. "Can't ya see I'm busy?"

Butch's face began to grow red. His fists clenched and he began to get up.

"Let's go Butch." Cassidy said, grabbing his arm. "Come on Zelda and Zach before this gets messy."

They left, Zelda had grabbed a few sugar packets and they were once more fighting over them. Cassidy was trying to calm Butch down.

"Butch it's okay, there's nothing wrong with your voice." Cassidy said calmly, stroking his reddened face.

But he wasn't calming down. He just started breathing heavier and heavier. His body tensed up and his fists were clenched very tightly.

Zelda and Zach say the state their 'father' was in.

"Distract him!" Zach yelled.

"Do something or it will get worse." Zelda yelled.

Cassidy did the only thing she could do. She turned his turned away face with her hands and kissed him, hard. Butch was surprised by this action and slowly loosened up. They stood their kissing for a while.

"Aww… …How romantic." Zelda said softly. She grabbed Zach and rubbed his head with her knuckles very roughly.

After a few minutes they stopped. They both looked like they enjoyed it.

"I… …Needed… …That…" Butch sighed. They looked at eachother for a while then met eachother in a tight embrace and began kissing again.

"Man…" Zach said, slightly sickened. "Nasty… This is like in a movie or something…"

Cassidy and Butch stopped after a while. They held each other's shoulders and looked lovingly into each other's eyes.

"Gak! How long have we been here?" Zelda yelped.

"Only a few minutes…" Butch replied softly.

"No! Aww man, we gotta get back!" Zach said. "I got it! Mom, do you have and empty PokéBall?" Cassidy nodded and handed him a red and white colored ball. Zach then pulled out some silly putty. Zelda pulled out a dead AAA battery.

"Where the heck did you get that?" Zach asked, dumbfounded.

"All ways carry one, don't know why." She answered. "Hey, lovebirds! We gotta get going!" She yelled to the couple, still looking in each other's eyes. They snapped out of their daze and helped them assemble the 'time machine'.

"It's not working…" Zach said.

"Here." Butch commanded. He took the ball and pounded it on the cement a few times. It sparked a little then emitted a greenish blue color.

"Thanks Dad." Zelda said taking the ball. She grabbed her case. "Bye Mom, bye Dad. Have a wonderful life that comes before us!" At that they were gone.

"That was weird." Cassidy sighed.

"I need to tell you something." Butch said, turning toward his partner. "I have kept this from you for a long time. I…"

"Love you?" Cassidy finished. She smiled at the green haired man. "Yes, Butch I love you too."

They once again met in a tight embrace.

Epilogue

Sixteen years latter…

"Zelda! Zach! Pick up this mess you made! Ruka, Ryer, Matt, Jennifer, you help too!" Cassidy yelled across the house to the six thirteen year olds.

"I was her!" Zach, Ryer, and Matt yelled, pointing toward Zelda.

"Matt!" Zelda yelled to her boyfriend. "I thought you were on my side!"

Butch walked into the room. It looked like a Gyarados let forth a Dragon Rage attack.

"What happened?" He asked, eyeing the teenagers.

"It was Zelda!" Zach yelled.

"Was not!" Zelda spat back.

"Zelda, I need to talk to you." Butch sighed deeply. Zelda slowly, with her head down walked over to her father who led her to a different.

"That was some mess Zel." He said softly. A small smile spread across his face. "Next time make it bigger to annoy your mother. And blame it on Zach, come on! Defend yourself!"

"You got that right dad!" She said happily. "Were you like me when you were a kid?"

"Worse…" He said slyly.

A small smile crept across Zelda's face. She rubbed her hands together happily.

"No go and make Zach clean it up!" Butch said, pushing is daughter. As she left Cassidy came in sighing.

"Butch now why'd you do that?" She said, walking over to the sitting man.

"Had to. Teenagers just wanna have fun." He smiled.

Cassidy lovingly tugged on his ear.

"You've been a bad boy." She smiled. "You go clean up the mess."

"But Cass…''

"Go.''

"Okay…"

He sadly walked into the room were his daughter and son and their friends were.

"Great, now I gotta clean this up." He sighed.

"Let me guess, Mr. (what's a good last name?)." Matt said slyly. "Mrs. (what's a good last name? i'm stumped) got to you again?"

Butch gave a small smile.
