Butch got out of the car first. He slammed the door harder than he had meant to and smirked. Cassidy got out right then looking mad.

“Butch! How many times do I have to tell you not to slam the doors that hard! If you break it I’ll kill you!” she whispered through gritted teeth. Butch just kept smirking.

“Sorry.” He whispered, trying to stifle his laughter. Cassidy looked so funny when she was angry with him. He let a chuckle slip and clapped a hand over his mouth. Cassidy glared at him. He wiped the smile off his face and stood up straight. They both turned to look at the building they had parked in front of. It was an old, run-down looking building that looked abandoned except for the first floor, which was a small pokemon center area. It was the oldest pokemon center in history. The boss had sent Butch and Cassidy to rob this of all the pokémon inside it.

Butch grabbed a black bag out of the trunk and looked at Cassidy. She nodded and started walking across the street. Butch followed, with the black bag tucked under his arm, covering the red R on his shirt. He had heard that the police were really tough in this area. When they had gotten all the way across the street, Cassidy found a window leading to the basement at the bottom of the building. Butch smiled and kicked the glass out of it. Cassidy squeezed in first, and Butch handed the bag down to her. Then he squeezed in himself, which was quite a squeeze, since he was bigger than Cass. But he got in eventually.

They fumbled around in the dark for a while, their eyes still not adjusted. Butch fell on Cassidy trying to find a light switch and Cass giggled.

“Not here, Romeo.” She whispered. Butch blushed and got up. They eventually came to a flight of stairs leading up. Butch went up first in case something was up there. You always had to be careful when it came to rocket business. There was no one upstairs, so Cassidy climbed up as well. They looked around and found a large room with shelves lining every part of the walls. As they inched closer, thinking the shelves were full of pokéballs, They heard a ticking noise. Butch looked to the right and saw a small square object attached to the wall, with a small light blinking on it and numbers slowly ticking away.

“Oh shit.” He whispered. Cassidy turned to him.

“What?” she asked, suddenly frightened.

“It’s…a bomb.” He said as the numbers turned to 10 seconds. “Run…” he whispered. Cassidy was frozen. “RUN!” He yelled at her. That seemed to snap her back to reality and she ran towards to door. Butch followed behind, praying Cassidy would get out in time. Cass had just touched the doorknob when they heard police sirens. She opened the door just as the bomb went off. She was blown from the building onto the lawn in front. Butch had just made it by the skin of his teeth and was blown a shorter distance and farther away.

Cassidy looked over and saw the police running toward Butch. They had him in handcuffs and were leading him to the cop car. Cassidy realized they would start to look for her now…she couldn’t save Butch without having both of them get caught. She stood up and whispered to herself, “I will save you, Butch” and ran off.
