1. Ash/Satoshi's voice is played by a female both in the original japanese version and the American dubbed version.
2. The voice acter for Ash in the American dub, was pregnant throughout the taping of the first season of the show and "Mewtwo Strikes Back"
3. Every Officer Jenny may look the same, but they each have a different charm/symbol on their hats.
4. Misty and Jesse have the same Voice actress
5. Brock, James, and Tracey, all have the same voice actor
6. Misty's Japanese name "Kasumi" actually means "Mist"
7. the name selections for Jessie, James, Cassidy, and Butch, were meant as a pun. as in the outlaws "Butch Cassidy" and "Jesse James".
8. Ash's Japanese Name "Satoshi", is actually the name of the creator of Pokémon (Satoshi Tajiri)
9. the ends of the names of the Legendary birds are spanish for one, two, and three. "Artic-uno", "Zapa-dos", "Mol-tres".
10. One of the English directors of “Pokémon” also does the voice of Psyduck.
11. The original Japanese version of Toshiro Ono’s Pokemon manga was WAY more "risky" as far as their clothing, than the English version
12. in the Original Japanese version, Meowth isn’t a wise-cracker. On the contrary, he’s a philosopher.
13. for reasons unkown, the most common time period for a pokemon fanfiction is sometime before Ash earns the volcanoe badge.
14. in "Mewtwo Strikes Back" even thoguh Mewtwo captured Ash's Charizard, plus Venusaur and Blastoise from the other trainers
to make clones, They never actually battled their OWN clones.
