Shaqarava & Umrath'ma the Liar

Shaqarava and Umrath'ma, figures from our mythology, appear in the ancient prophecy of the Sleeper. The legend goes as such:

'...the sacred text tell of a sign, a dire omen appearing in the sky, twins, two avatars of grace. Umrath'ma and Shaqarava quarrel over the meaning of the omen. Umrath'ma vanquishes Shaqarava into the void, but the void does not consume Shaqarava. Through anguish and denial, he emerges with the fury of truth that burns away all the illusions of Umrath/ma, the voice of all lies...'

James Pike, in an experiment with a CVI was taught this legend as well as the Taelon language Eunoia. He scribbled onto the wall of his cell in the penitentiary the entire story of the sleeper. Shortly after, he broke free from his prison cell and went on a rampage, killing two people, and attempting to kill Da'an, the North American Companion. He carved into the foreheads of the two victims, Shaqarava and Umrath'ma's symbols. A great eye of truth representing Shaqarava, and a mouth lined with jagged teeth to represent Umrath'ma. He called Da'an the Liar, for he believed that Da'an was the voice of all lies.
