A human native to the Pegasus Galaxy who fought the Wraith in defense of his planet, Ronon Dex was captured, tortured and then released to become a "runner," the target of a Wraith hunting ritual. He has evaded capture by the Wraith for seven years. After being discovered by Sheppard's team whilst on a mission to find Lt Aidan Ford, Dr Beckett released him from the Wraith technology that allowed him to be tracked and he joined the Atlantians. |
