What people have to say.

I've thought long and hard about whether or not to put this page up.  I don't want you to think that my ego is so big that I need a page like this.  But others have told me that these comments should be made available for others to read so that folks unfamiliar with my website or myself can see what others think.

All the comments below come from the following sources.  Email that I've received, comments from the website survey, and comments written about either myself or PuterGeek.Com that I've found on the internet.  Names are not given unless the comments can be found on the internet.  Obviously, all you'll find below are the nice ones :-)  Like everyone else, I have my detractors, but since they are so few I won't bother to list them...hehe.

  Yeah, I know. Howie never advertises. Bear with me, ok?  I subscribe to many e-mail newsletters. I try to read them all when they arrive, but no avail, I had to create e-mail folders and file away some that I read when I feel like it.
  
  There is a few exceptions. One of them is the putergeek newsletter. Peter Crockett sends out a periodic newsletter that includes sections of the funnies, some of the highlights of another excellent newsletter, the Langa List, articles from the Microsoft knowledge base, as well as his own twist on 'puter stuff.  I make sure to read it when it arrives and always find excellent stuff that helps me maintain my PC and understand more about why I continue to hate windows!!!
  
  So you geeks and geek-ettes out there that wanna learn more about these WONDERFUL puters we hold so near and dear to the trash can....   You know... there are all sorts of great sites out there that offer a lot of help.  Another site that has come to my attention lately is http://www.putergeek.com/ It isn't a very fancy site, but there are some interesting "white papers" as well as a newsletter with tips and tricks. It is all worth a look.

I've formatted and reformatted, installed and reinstalled... Then I used your Boot Disk image, followed the "How to reinstall Windows 98" instructions and Bingo!
