Conversion Notes: This package represents the minimum abilities of a young (16 to 25 year old) rainbow dragon from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons as presented in Dragon Magazine #146. This write-up uses Champions 5th edition rules.
Rainbow dragons are one of the larger and stronger of the uncommon dragon types. It has high intelligence. Although it can survive in any climate, it prefers deserts. Because it prefers deserts it ends up competing with blue dragons, brown dragons, sand dragons and brass dragons for land. They can breath a beam of pure energy or attack with their powerful claws and bite.
Although generally considered an evil race of dragons, player characters can play any alignment.
Like most dragons they can live for over 1000 years, see in the dark, sense the presence of invisible things, are immune to sleep and hold spells, and have large wings which allow flight.
