Bronze Dragon Racial Package (Cost 411-98=313)

Bronze Dragon Conversion Notes: This package represents the minimum abilities of a young (16 to 25 year old) bronze dragon from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons role playing game. All abilities which are only in hero ID work only in dragon form, or if polymorphed into an appropiate form to use this ability. This write-up uses Champions 5th edition rules.

Bronze dragons are one of the larger common dragon types. Although it can survive in any climate, it prefers to live near lakes and oceans. They can breath a cone of repulsion gas or a bolt of lightning They can also attack with their powerful claws and bite. They can speak with animals at will.

Although generally considered a good race of dragons, player characters can play any alignment.

Bronze dragons are inquisitive and fond of humans and demi-humans. They enjoy polymorphing into small, friendly animals so they can unobtrusively observe humans and demi-humans, especially adventurers. Bronze dragons thrive on simple challenges such as riddles and harmless contests. They are fascinated by warfare and will eagerly join an army if the cause is just and the pay is good. Bronze dragons often compete with the smaller and rarer salt dragon for territory.

At birth, a bronze dragon's scales are yellow tinged with green, showing only a hint of bronze. As the dragon approached adulthood, its color deepens slowly changing to a rich bronze tone that gets darker as the dragon ages. Dragons from the very old stage on develop a blue-black tint to the edges of their scales, similar to a patina on ancient bronze armor or statues.

Their favorite food is shark. Like most dragons they can live for over 1000 years, sense the presence of invisible things, see in the dark, are immune to sleep and hold spells, and have large wings which allow flight.
