Explanation of the conversion:
History: Tandy Bowen was injected with an experimental drug which unleashed her latent mutant powers. She partnered with Tyrone Johnson, who became Cloak in hunting down the man who did this to her (Spectacular Spider-Man #64).
Tandy was blinded for some time. She was chosen by Ghaur the Deviant priest to be a bride of the demon Set. Eventually she regained her sight.
When the New Warriors team was abducted by the Sphinx and placed in various times in the past, Hindsight Lad organized a new line-up of New Warriors to rescue them. The new team consisted of Dagger, Darkhawk, Hindsight Lad, Powerpax and Turbo and was led by Night Thrasher's half-brother Bandit (New Warriors #48).
The original team was successfully rescued. Tandy became a reserve member of the Warriors.
When the Warriors was reorganized by Speedball, he approached Dagger about rejoining, but she refused, saying she had to spend time with Cloak (New Warriors II #1).
She was among the heroes incapacitated by Graviton when he attempted to take over the Earth once again (Thunderbolts #57).
Powers: Dagger can generate and control psionic daggers of pure light. These daggers can damage opponents, cure them of addiction, or can seek out her partner Cloak.
