K.I.T.T, aka Knight Industries Two
Thousand, is a top-secret super car which is indestructible due to its
shield. KITT is an advances A. I, he can take voice commands and talk to its
owner, Michael Knight. He is programmed to protect human life with all costs and
of course fight crime, without using lethal force. He has a great partnership
with Michael and the rest of the flag crew.
A little Description: KITT is a
black Trans-Am, he has a led chaser(scanner) in front. The whole outside
including his windows are everything proof, bullet proof, bomb proof everything,
although he may have his chemical bonded shield to protect him if he takes very
big hits either by a EMP or laser his interior circuits may malfunction, but
Bonnie always takes care of him and repairs him when Michael gets in trouble.
Kitt's interior looks very futuristic, everything is digital, 2 monitors, allot
of lights and buttons, no meters, only digital ones. Some photos of the

KITT has many features witch render
Michaels missions easier. Sometimes in some episodes Bonnie adds a feature to
KITT which is used only in that episode, or a few other. Those add-ons are not
listed below, only the ones used in most of the episodes are here.

| Super pursuit mode: This is one of the
most important features added to KITT during the fourth season. The SPM
allows KITT to accelerate up to 40% more then his normal speed. Kitt's
Appearance changes when in SPM. This and the Turbo Boost are the most used
features. |

| Emergency Breaking System: The EBS is
designed to allow KITT to stop after using SPM. |

| Turbo Boost: Turbo Boost makes KITT
jump in the air in order to get to a destination. The height of the jump is
determined an on-board computer that controls it to provide the maximum
height and precise landing spot needed. |

Auto Cruise: This mode lets KITT drive
himself. It is activated either by the driver or in some cases KITT. He uses
on-board maps, radar to detect any obstructions and visual scanning to
analyze the environment. |

| Auto Roof L, R: This opens either one
of the sunroofs. |

| Voice Modulator: Artificial Intelligence: As I said at
the top, kitt can talk, drive himself...etc. PS: You can't enlarge the

| C button: This was also added during
the forth season, it allows KITT to go convertible. |

| Sky Mode: This Makes KITT stay either
on its two left wheels or on its two right wheels for a short period (up to
1 minute??). It is controlled by a computer naturally. |

| Eject R or L: Ejects either one of the
passengers, the force needed is controlled automatically by an on-board
computer. Eject R or L does not open the sunroof automatically. 'Next
time open the roof before KITT!' |

MicroJam : This feature was
added in the episode Inside Out. KITT demonstrates it and messes up all the
SEMIs computers. This electronically jams other electronic devices and
vehicles for a short time. |

| Normal Cruise: This allows the driver
to have full control of the vehicle. KITT may change himself to AUTO CRUISE
but not if the driver doesn't allow it. |

| Passive Laser Restraint System: The
PLRS is a seat belt used to help the passengers stay in their seat while in
TURBO BOOST or SPM. |
|
| Surveillance Mode: The surveillance
mode enables KITTs infrared detection, x-ray, audio/video recording, and
motion sensors. |
