Cryolophosaurus elliotti
Cryolophosaurus elliotti was one of the few dinosaurs, and the only theropod, discovered in the frigid Antarctica. At the time, Antarctica wasn't the frozen hell-scape it is today. During the Pliensbachian times, Antarctica was closer to the equator, so it was much warmer.
Cryolophosaurus was quite large for an early Jurassic theropod, about 25ft long. The odd thing about this beast, is the curved crest which sits atop its skull. This crest might have been used a mating display. In fact, it was originally named, Elvisaurus!
